Gourmet Foods has been getting creative with wedding day menus for more than 30 years in Birmingham, Warwickshire, West Midlands, and the surrounding areas. Its passionate team offers a personalised, bespoke approach to each wedding reception and tries to ensure that no two menus are the same. They have worked with hundreds of couples on their special days and helped thousands of guests enjoy an unforgettable culinary experience.

They also want everyone to sample the flavours on the day, so they offer guests extensive vegetarian, vegan and dietary catering options. Everyone at Gourmet Foods recognises that the wedding day's success is about more than a creative menu and a fantastic look; the logistics have to be spot on, too. They will work with each couple from beginning to end to ensure their special day remembered fondly forever.

Excellent Experience!
From start to finish, communication was great. We were able to alter things for our wedding, like changing numbers or altering food for a fussy guest within 2 weeks of the wedding day!
The food was hearty and delicious while still looking really beautiful on the plate.
Staff are friendly and professional.

Meet the team
I am Fenella and i am the Director of Gourmet Foods. I was classicaly trained at the famous Cordon Blue School, Winkfield. After graduating with distinction, I gained valuable experience working in restaurants in Bath before marying and moving abroad. On returning to this country, I set up my own catering company in Birmingham before aquiring Gourmet Foods in 1994. Since that time, I have maintained a strong base of both business and private clients. Some of our many achivements include catering for the Queen whilst contracted to provide a la carte in-flight meals to a private jet company, serving 450 guests with a hot three course meal for an international celebration dinner held in Coventry Cathedral and for the last three years exclusively catering for the needs of Jaguar Land Rovers VIP clients across their three sites in the Midlands.
I joined Gourmet Foods not long after COVID, a difficult time for all, but particularly those of us in the Hospitality sector. I have ensured that my previous experience (including Head Chef in a Michelin starred restaurant) has not been limited to only what is needed to run a succesful kitchen, but I have added to my knowledge by learning the nessesary skills to operate a business and meet the exacting requirements needed. Now both mine and Fenellas skills are combined, the business is going from strength to strength.
