Claire made our wedding cake recently and it was amazing! She met with us on Zoom, drew us our design and sent us the most delicious tasting cake samples we’ve had in a long time.
After receiving these, we knew the actual cake would be fab. Unsurprisingly, our wedding cake went down extremely well at the wedding, with many guests going back for extra slices and we received so many lovely remarks about it. Would 100% recommend Claire and will no doubt be seeking her services again in the future!Claire Owen Cakes's reply:

I cannot highly recommend Claire enough. She produced the wedding cake of our dreams, for less cost than we’d been quoted for lesser designs. What more can you want. We’d assumed she was out of our budget based on the amazing gallery on her website but it was definitely worth the ask. She was brilliant at bringing our thoughts to life, and happily accommodated our request for her to help incorporate my grandmother’s separate fruit cake layer (she makes a mean fruit cake) by adding decorations to it so that the cakes looked conjoined and didn’t overshadow each other. Other suppliers had said they couldn’t. The flavours we went for weren’t the ones we assumed we would - so do take a gamble! We’ll be coming back for more stout cake in the future I’m sure. The sneak peaks she posted online the week before the wedding got us so excited, and although we never saw her on the day when she was setting it all up as we got dressed, the pictures she posted were a joy to watch afterwards. We had constant compliments on the day from people saying ‘have you seen the cake yet!’. Thanks Claire -

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding cake! It was absolutely perfect in every way, stunningly beautiful, with flavours that were just as incredible as the design. Claire was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. She even collaborated seamlessly with our florist, which made everything run so smoothly. The result was a cake that was exactly what we had hoped for (and more!) and such a special part of our day. We are so grateful!
Would definitely recommend Claire Owen Cakes! -

A beautiful cake and great to work with
Claire produced a beautiful and tasty cake on our wedding day, and was great to work with throughout. First she listened carefully to our brief and produced great drawings from which we could get a good idea of the final product. We received a box of samples to choose our flavours (good range and all were tasty, we had a hard time choosing!) Finally on the day the set up was smooth and it looked beautiful and in keeping with the rest of the design and flowers. Worked well with our florist. Thank you Claire!Claire Owen Cakes's reply:

Where to even start. designing my wedding cake with Claire was an absolute joy. Having started with very few ideas beyond something traditional with a twist, Claire really helped to draw out from me and my fiancé exactly what would complement our day. She gave advice on how large our cake needed to be (as we were serving it for pudding) as well as tips on what cake stand would work well!
The cake tasting itself was swift, and we were able to do so during the winter lockdown with samples sent perfectly in the post. Exquisite flavours and flexibility to really personalise too.
We settled on gin, lime and tonic and a pistachio and rose water – it really stood apart from other wedding cakes and guests commented on how delicious it was!
On the day, the cake really took my breath away (as cliché as that sounds) and made our day so special. Beautiful sugar paste flowers, watercolour detailing, and gold leaf all came together to make a perfect classic cake with a twist. Well worth the money spent and Claire was professional, kind and supportive throughout. A great supplier!

Delicious and beautiful wedding cake
Claire created the most beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding in June 2021. We were absolutely delighted with it. From initial contact she was fantastic, provided us with delicious samples to taste, and created a delicious and beautiful cake for on the day. We were really excited for the cake and were super pleased on the day. Thanks so much Claire! -
