After art college I studied Surface Pattern Design at Huddersfield University. I have always been creative and after having my first child I started to create cakes for his birthdays. I then gained a number of years experience at a small commercial patisserie in Otley working as a confectioner/decorator.

In 2016 I set up Rose and Jam Cake Creations. I wanted to continue to grow as a cake decorator and have control over the quality of my work. I was keen to try new things and share the joy in my work. I am passionate about creating beautiful, fun and delicious cakes. Baked fresh using high-quality ingredients.

Some people go for something different in each tier, this gives you and your guests the choice, catering for different tastes. We are also happy to collaborate on flavours, so if it’s not on the list, it doesn’t mean that it’s not possible. It’s always fun trying new flavours such as hazelnut praline, peanut butter, peppermint, ginger and other spiced cakes.

With our wedding customers, we offer a consultation service. This is where you will get the opportunity to taste some cake and talk all things wedding over a cuppa. These meetings usually take place on a weekend and are booked in on a first come first served basis.
