Sam was amazing from start to finish. From our first contact it was immediately clear that she wouldn't rest until she'd designed our perfect cake.
The design she came up with was beautiful; we were especially impressed with her attention to detail on all the hand-made sugar flowers. She was very receptive to our specific requests. Choosing flavours was the only hard part of the process, but only because all of the options tasted great. She also did a great job of adapting it for guests with special dietary requirements.
As the day approached, she helpfully handled talking directly with our venue to confirm everything, which was one less thing for us to worry about.
The cake itself was stunning and our guests were full of compliments. We "unfortunately" had some spare at the end of the night, but that wasn't an issue because Sam had already given us advice about how best to preserve it, and had briefed the catering team to make sure it got stored properly without us needing to lift a finger.
A very easy recommendation from us! -

Beautiful and masterful cake
We had a lovely wedding cake created by Sam which had two tiers one of which was vegan. Sam was very attentive to our requests and delivered very professionally. My husband and I have very different cake preferences and we both loved the flavours. Thank you Sam for all your help and hard work! -

Perfect wedding cake
Sam did our wedding cake for our special day. She is a kind and lovely lady who always ensured we was at ease. Sam listened to our preferences and answered all our questions. Our dog is a huge part of our life and we wanted her on our cake, Sam ensured she was included with a figurine and had her eating the cake.
Wedding cakes normally have a lot of leftovers, But this cake tasted so good there was hardly any left!. We also requested gluten free cupcakes and they were defiantly the best gluten free cupcakes I have ever had!
Thank you again Sam for being amazing and creating our dream wedding cake. It was perfect!! x -

Our Wedding 27/07/24
Cake innovations were recommended to us, and from the start to finish Sam was so professional, relaxed and straightforward couldn't ask for anything more.
Sam started off by having a chat with us getting to know us and what kind of things we want and to get us to look for ideas/design that we like and so she can incorporate them once we've decided upon the style, tiers and flavours.
Sam also sent out taste boxes in October time of what flavours she offers, to allow us to decide what flavours we wanted.
Around January time we had another meeting with Sam and found designs that we liked and showed them to her and what flavours we decided to have.
Sam did two design for us as we was unable to decide how many tiers we actually wanted both tiers were hand drawn and incorporated everything we wanted on our cake.
We decided to go for the 4tier with sugar flowers.
The flavours we decided was Vanilla, White chocolate & Raspberry, Salted Caramel and lemon drizzle.
The design she draw was brought to life, everything we asked her to do from the flavours to the decorations and down to the colour of the sugar flowers was to perfection. I couldn't recommend cake innovations anymore if I tried, if you have sugar flowers, she gives you a guide/instructions on how to preserve them and keep them.
She even offers various cake stands, to go with her cakes & design to suit all.
We can't thank her enough for everything she did for us. -

Sam made the most stunning 3 tied cake for our wedding. Our flavours were lemon drizzle, classic victoria sandwich & Gin & elderflower sponge. The flavour of each layer was amazing and the handmade sugar craft roses and foliage were so lifelike. I was so excited to see the final cake and was stunned by how beautiful it looked.
Sam was an absolute pleasure to work with, her ideas, design, creativity & vision for what we wanted was brilliant.
She is one very talented lady and I would highly recommend her. -

Sam visited us at home to discuss cakes ideas, designs and flavours. She made us feel relaxed and she listened to our wishes without pressuring us.
Sam made regular contact with us, keeping us up to date with progress. She arranged the delivery and set up of the cake, she supplied us with allergy information. I would highly recommend Sam to others.

We cannot recommend Sam enough! We absolutely loved our cake and it is testament to her skill as a baker and designer. Sam listened to our needs and worked with us to develop a design. We opted for Lemon, chocolate, salted caramel and vanilla as our tiers and received so many complements on the cake design and flavours! Sam also made sugar flowers for our cake based on my wedding bouquet and provides the materials to preserve the flowers afterwards. -
