Amber's Bakes for our Newmarket Wedding
It was such a pleasure working with Amber from first coming in contact with her to seeing her amazing work on our wedding day.
I immediately was struck with Amber's swift responsiveness and being highly receptive to my visions and design ideas for our wedding cake that were very natural and organic. She understood my vision instantly and provided such an amazing array of flavours that it was almost impossible to pick! Needless to say the cake went in seconds on our special day and was an incredibly fresh, and high quality bake.
I must also highlight her logistical management and professionalism ensuring that I would not need to worry too much about the delivery and setting up of the cake as she autonomously reached out to the venue and made plans accordingly, which greatly helped with easing further logistical admin on my end!
I would strongly recommend Amber and her work not only from compliments from myself and my husband, but also the many compliments we received from your guests that thoroughly enjoyed Amber's bakes too. Thank you Amber!Amber's Bakes and Cakes's reply:

Huge range of flavours and design ideas. She created a mockup for us which allowed our vision to come to life. -

Absolutely gorgeous cake and very tasty. We opted for 1 tier and the rest of the cake was cupcakes, we got to choose different flavours and Amber came to assemble it at the venue the morning of the wedding. Very reasonably priced too -

Amber made the entire process so easy, we messaged her to discuss what we wanted and throw ideas around, and we sent her some inspo photos from Pinterest. She had already done a very similar cake so she changed a few details to make it ours. We went for a cake tasting and tried 4 different flavours, ultimately deciding on coffee & walnut and cherry & almond. Everyone at the wedding commented on how delicious the cake was and how awesome it looked - it was perfectly us!! We would absolutely recommend Amber’s Cakes and Bakes to anyone, and we will definitely order from her for all our cake needs!! -

Wedding cake perfection!
So from the beginning Amber was brilliant, she kept in contact and even hand delivered us some wonderful cupcakes which we bought from her. Also highly recommend these! The cake itself was beautiful, we went for a ‘simpler’ design but Amber made it look beautiful particularly the water colour on the bottom tier. It tied in really well some fresh flowers to decorate. We went for Vanilla, salted caramel and funfetti flavours which were all massive hits. Plus it stayed fresh for ages! Wedding cakes these days are classed as expensive but Ambers cakes are so reasonable and trust me, it’s worth it! -

Incredible dairy free wedding cake!
Amber did a brilliant job creating exactly what we wanted for our wedding cake! Three tiers with carrot, vanilla and lemon. It not only looked incredible but tasted amazing too - we had many guests tell us how delicious it was. We also went dairy free as a few of our guests were dairy intolerant, and you couldn't tell! If you're looking for a high quality cake for a special event, we couldn't recommend Amber more highly. Thanks Amber!! -

Our wedding cake, crafted by the talented Amber, was an absolute showstopper that left our guests in awe. From the moment Amber began assembling the masterpiece in the morning, I knew we were in for something special. The attention to detail and precision she demonstrated was truly incredible to witness, and it was evident that she poured her heart into creating something extraordinary for our big day.
We met Amber during our delightful wedding cake tasting session, which was hands down our favourite part of wedding planning! Amber was warm, enthusiastic, and her assistance in finding a supplier for our Lego wedding cake topper showcased her dedication to making our vision a reality.
Amber not only brought our original vision to life but elevated it to a whole new level. The semi-naked appearance with buttercream, fresh fruit, figs, and subtle festive greenery perfectly complemented our rustic festive winter wedding vibe perfectly.
We opted for a three-tier cake with red velvet, lemon, and carrot cake flavours, accompanied by cookies and cream cupcakes, as choosing just one flavour proved to be an impossible task. The majority of our guests couldn't decide on just one slice either and indulged in each tier, and the cupcakes vanished within minutes! The taste of the cakes was nothing short of amazing.
We also took advantage of Amber's cake sign services. The package, which included digital sketches of our cake and a framed print, added a lovely touch and showcased her commitment to providing a comprehensive and personalised experience.
We are thrilled to have discovered Amber, and there's no doubt that we'll be keeping in touch and ordering more of her delectable creations in future! -

Amber made our wedding cake and chocolate brownies for our wedding in October this year.
We first came across Ambers business at a wedding fayre last year where she had set up a stand with lots of pictures from her portfolio of all the different types of wedding cakes she had already made and some individually packaged cupcakes in a range of her flavours. Unfortunately Amber herself wasn't at that wedding fayre herself due to a previous booking however this didn't stop the other suppliers shouting her name from the rooftops saying how amazing she is. We took a cup cake and a leaflet and we're instantly amazed at how delicious the cupcake was.
We went home and straight away messaged Amber for more details and we quickly got to discussing our wants and needs for our wedding cake. Amber's communication was 5* and within two days of messaging we had decided to book Amber. A few months later Amber invited us to her wedding cake tasting session (which if anyone is debating booking a session then do so!) so we could taste 4 different flavours out of Amber's amazing 20 different flavours! At this session is where we met Amber herself and she is one of the most friendly yet still very professional ladies I have ever met. Amber ran over what we had been discussing over message and we soon finalised our design. We added the brownies to our order months after booking Amber and again this was no trouble for her.
On the wedding day itself Amber delivered our cake to the venue and set it up perfectly with no issues. Upon seeing it for the first time I was amazed it looked even better than I had pictured and upon tasting it later that evening I was also so pleased, it was so delicious like I knew it would be! All of our guests commented on how delicious the cake was - Cherry and Almond being one of the guests favourite, whilst the children loved the funfetti.
