Absolutely incredible from start to finish – I couldn’t recommend The Bridal Loft highly enough!
I honestly don’t have enough words to express how wonderful my experience with Vanessa at The Bridal Loft at The Essex Wedding Centre was. She was absolutely incredible from the very first moment to the very last, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be part of my wedding journey.
Before I started dress shopping, the whole experience felt quite daunting. As a very self-conscious woman and an older bride, the thought of trying on wedding dresses was quite overwhelming. And I had no idea what I was looking for! But from the moment I walked through the door, Vanessa made me feel like a princess! She has an incredible wealth of experience and knowledge, and her advice was invaluable throughout. She listens, offers honest and thoughtful feedback, supports you in every decision and gives you the confidence to trust yourself. I felt completely comfortable with her, and she made what I had expected to be an intimidating experience genuinely enjoyable and exciting.
Vanessa went above and beyond at every stage. She checked in with me, supported me throughout the journey and made absolutely sure I found the right dress, veil and matching jewellery. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and I always felt that she genuinely cared about getting everything just right for me. I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day, and I will always be so grateful to Vanessa for helping me feel that way.
And then there were my bridesmaids! The support we got was second to none. Vanessa once again made the whole experience so special for everyone, and it was clear that her care and attention extended to every single one of us.
Vanessa and team, thank you for everything. You didn’t just help me find my wedding dress; you helped me feel beautiful, confident and truly special at a time when I needed it most. That is something I will never forget.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my bridesmaid dresses from Martels. The selection was beautiful, with a wide range of styles, colors, and sizes to choose from. The staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, making the whole process stress-free and enjoyable.
The quality of the dresses exceeded my expectations. My bridesmaids loved how flattering the were. Communication throughout the ordering process was excellent, and everything arrived on time.
I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for beautiful bridesmaid dresses and outstanding customer service. Thank you for helping and making us feel so special!

Absolutely amazing service. I cannot thank Vanessa enough. The attention to detail of all my needs and requests. I am very body conscious and wasn't sure what dress to go for. Vanessa put me at ease and we tried several different styles and we found the one. Even though I knew was the one (my mum was crying), there was no pressure to purchase. Absolutely stunning. Within my budget. I felt amazing on our special day. Everyone commented on who beautiful the dress and veil was.

Vanessa was very welcoming, made me feel relaxed in my appointment. No pressure at all. Once I ordered, I had been kept up to date regarding my dress and it was beautiful. Cannot fault them.

I bought my bridesmaid dresses from Martels and had a fantastic experience throughout the whole process. Before coming across Martels, I was struggling to find bridesmaid dresses that I felt really stood out and were in the colour that I was after. My bridesmaids live across the UK with different heights and body shapes and I liked the idea of going to a shop together to try on different styles and see what suited each of them. This is where Martels comes into its own. The boutique is so lovely and the range of colours and styles was truly impressive. I loved being able to take a style and then choose the colour and material that I wanted the dresses to be in. Vanessa was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout and did not make us ever feel rushed. She was so helpful and made great suggestions showing how the dresses could be tailored to make my vision come to life. I also do not live close by and Vanessa was incredibly flexible to fit us in at a busy time of year to allow for travel logistics. She made the whole experience so stress-free and smooth and we all had a wonderful time at the boutique.
When the dresses arrived, they were of such high quality and so well made. They looked amazing on my bridesmaids and required only minor alterations. I was so happy with my choice in Martels and had so many comments on the day about how stunning the bridesmaids looked.
I would highly recommend Martels for purchasing bridesmaid dresses and am so glad that we came across them at the Lion Inn wedding fair – thank you for being part of our special day!Martels Bridal Boutique's reply:
