  Best shop for 'short' dresses

  If you don't want a floor-length dress - then the range here is unbeatable!! I tried on about 20 dresses - all completely different styles - and found my dream dress. I was getting married in two months and they were very flexible - I was able to buy the sample dress for a reduced price and get some small aterations completed.
  
  The shop is quite dark and absolutely packed with dresses (which, of course is great, but you're it's not a fancy, beautifully aesthetic shopping experience - more practical). There is a paid car park about a 5 minute walk away.
  
  The person I was dealing with however was slow to respond and made a couple of mistakes which meant I had to rearrange plans and wasn't always sure about dates for fittings, etc, which could have been much better.
  
  Overall I am extrememly happy with my dress and would recommend this shop to other brides.

  Outstanding Wedding Dress Shop

  I was thrilled with my experience at Cutting Edge Brides. They have a great selection of shorter dresses. The staff are helpful, patient and friendly and not pushy as in other bridal shops. They also do alterations in house. My dress was perfect for me! I couldn't have found such a good quality dress elsewhere for such a reasonable price. If you want something different and special you must visit! Highly recommended.

  Excellent personalised service

  I cannot recommend Cutting Edge highly enough, I absolutely loved my experience there. I was helped by Jo who really made me feel at ease. I ended up with an amazingly beautiful dress that I would never even have considered if it wasn't for Jo's suggestions of how the dress could be personalised to make it mine! I can't wait for my next fittings!

  Lovely dresses, lovely staff

  I travelled from Reading to visit this shop after finding if online as the short wedding dress specialist shop in the South East. I tried on soon many dresses with my mum and sister, but we weren't made to feel like we were taking too long. We were given tea and water (needed after a very early start picking up my Aussie sister from the airport). The dress I finally choose was the first one I tried on. I love my dress and can't wait to wear it. We went to get lunch whilst making the final decision and the lunch spot suggested was also great!!!
  
  I would wholeheartedly recommend cutting edge to anyone who wants a short length wedding dress.

  Great Experience

  I am in the process of fitting for my wedding dress and I must say that my experience at your beautiful shop was excellent. Suzanne and Jo took their time, didn't pressure me and were completely honest in their approach. There were so many amazing dresses and I can't wait to try mine on again in a few months time.   Wedding dress

  I was looking for a tea length dress and my sister sent me the link to cutting edge brides, dresses never look the same in the flesh, well these one do and I was overwhelmed with the choice. Purchased my dress without any hesitation. Great shop, great staff and great dresses!

  Fantastic experience for a plus size bride

  i made the decision to travel from Dorset to cutting edge brides as a telephone conversation alone helped melt away any fears I had about trying to squeeze my body into a sample dress far too small. On entering the shop u are instantly given one to one treatment and Jo seemed so in tune with what I was looking for that I fell in love with the first wedding dress I had ever tried on! Amazing experience and looking forward to march for my dress fitting x

  A must for anyone wanting a shorter dress

  I was referred to Cutting Edge Brides as they were having a designer day, and despite the four hour/180mile round trip to make my appointment I decided to visit their shop. I'd really struggled to find a dress nearer to home, I didn't feel comfortable in anything and knowing me I'll imagine I'll be wanting to run around and play on my wedding day and not be hindered by a dress.The moment I stepped in the door I felt incredibly welcome and Suzanne was fantastic at helping me narrow down the options to find my perfect dress, whilst also letting me try on anything that caught my attention in the shop. She made my most dreaded part of the wedding planning a fun event! Trying on dresses is an exhausting activity and so I went away with a favourite dress in mind (not the designer I'd originally gone for!) and thought about it for a couple of weeks. I happened to be in the area for work about a month later and Cutting Edge Brides were very accommodating at fitting me in at short notice to retry on my favourite. I spent ages in the shop trying "sitting" "bending" etc and Suzanne was very patient and understanding with me. One thing that stood out about Cutting Edge is their range of sizes to try on- I'd been bulldog clipped and pinned into so many dresses in other shops it was really refreshing to be able to try on dresses that actually fitted. I'm now eagerly awaiting the delivery of my dress, which I feel is absolutely perfect for me. If you are considering a shorter or more alternative dress this shop is an absolute must!
