We had a great appointment with Ali, incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Ali offered us some great advice and was incredibly accommodating throughout the appointment.

A beautiful dress found and a happy bride to be!

The owner of this store was incredibly rude.
Told me I was too early to try gowns on and that I can’t buy a gown until I have my venue, the girls can’t buy their dresses till I have mine and the groom can’t by his suit. Felt really uncomfortable within the first 5 minutes and felt like she had no time for me and my mum whatsoever. I was trying on dresses for the first time and while my mum was visiting. Then proceeded to allow me to try on 4 dresses seeing as I was there. Told me I didn’t suit a dress with sleeves because I’ve got tattoos down my arm and I look lob-sided!!
Had there been a problem I should’ve been told when I booked the appt, Would not go here again, the room is rammed with dresses and it’s incredibly overwhelming. We were not made to feel welcomed or special at all.
The next bridal shop I went to reassured me it was perfectly fine to research and try on dresses whenever I wanted to.

As it was my first bridal shop to visit. I was about nervous but soon as Ali came to meet us at reception I felt very warm welcome from herself and my nerves disappeared. Which was lovely feeling especially when you don't know what to except but from trying all the different dresses on an having my mum with me I also valued Ali's advice as she knew what looks right an doesn't. We the intention of just looking and trying a few on. I felt amazing when finally found the one an instantly fell in love. I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!! Thanks so much Ali you where very professional, warm an welcoming and nothing was too much can't wait for the big day to arrive.

Ali was so kind during my appointment, made me feel totally at ease, we laughed and joked the whole way through and she gave me time to view the dresses and make choices, explained everything I needed. Zipped me up, dressed and undressed me and was helpful with telling me which dresses she recommended and why. I bought my dress here!! I also bought a beautiful veil that Ali made herself!

After trying on some dresses at 2 other places, I was getting a bit worried that I wouldn't find a dress that gave me that magical feeling. Ali was absolutely brilliant, listening to everything I said and pulled out various dresses that she thought I might like. Unlike other places, she was never pushy about any dresses and didn't try to convince you it was the one when you weren't feeling it. In the end I found the perfect dress which I can't stop looking at. The price of this dress was shocking for how gorgeous it was and earned me a high five from my Fiancé (who had been slightly worried what I'd spend on my dress). I also got a veil which I adore. Ali was absolutely fantastic, couldn't recommend her enough!

Could not have asked for a better experience. Ali was knowledgeable, helpful, supportive and welcoming. She guided me through the entire process and explained everything so I knew I was in safe hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for their perfect wedding gown. I ended up leaving with everything I needed and couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait to wear my dress when i walk down the aisle!!!

The experience I had coming to this shop was one of a kind! I was very nervous and self conscious and not only did she help me find a dress that made me feel amazing she made me feel comfortable and confident! Took her time to make everything perfect! I honestly could recommend any other store! She’s such a lovely woman and the dresses are all perfect!

Ali was so helpful, full of excellent advice, guidance and suggestions, whilst really listening and taking on board all my worries, likes and dislikes.
I arrived dreading the appointment, convinced that I wouldn't find anything I liked in my size and at best, expecting to narrow down what I needed to be aiming for; instead I had the most positive experience ever, trying on lots of gowns and leaving with the dress of my dreams.

Louise found the dress of her dreams and is so happy with the care and help Ali gave her. There was no pushy selling and each of her dresses are different as she doesn’t just get them from one or two designers-they are from all over. Definitely recommend anyone to try there first

Absolutely loved my experience at blue and sixpence. Ali was amazing so friendly and helpful. Really put me at ease. There was a huge selection of dresses to choose from all at fantastic prices. I got a matching tiara and veil too. Absolutely over the moon with the price of the dress.

Such an amazing stress free experience from start to finish. i was anxious as a bigger girl that I would not have the same magical moment when finding the right dress but after a chat with Ali and her asking a few questions she was able to gauge what I wanted and funnily enough, i fell in love with the first gown she picked out for me. no embarrassment, no awkwardness, I felt beautiful and special. I was really nervous, I had a bad experience with another bridal shop. Ali welcomed me, straight away putting me at ease, chatting, getting to know me, my likes and dislikes, and addressing my issues “that I thought I wouldn’t find a dress to fit me” (size 18), I was promised that there were dresses in her shop that would fit me. I was a bundle of nerves. With advice from Ali on styles my Bridesmaids and friends were asked to choose a dress for me, plus I could add one too, a style I thought would suit me, I was able to try on dresses some big, small and perfect, my idea of a dress was a total no go, - soo many choices, I had heard people say “you know when you have found the one!”, I was swaying and kept looking at the mirror, even Ali was smiling - I had found my dress absolutely love it, even got a veil too. Ali was absolutely brilliant. I left feeling a bride and more confident, that was because of Ali and her support. On my second visit (day of collecting the dress), I had another try on, plus I ask took away a bolero. No ridiculous prices, no derision, but a friendly honest smile and wanting to help. I totally recommend Ali. She made me feel special which is priceless. I am now looking forward to my wedding, thanks to Ali x
