I was nervous about booking hair and makeup - I don’t have huge experience with it, but I know how much how you look affects how you feel on your wedding day. I wanted to look and feel like the best version of myself, still recognisably me. Yas delivered that and more.

I didn’t want my bridesmaids up at the crack of dawn, and Yas understood immediately. She helped me plan a realistic schedule and brought in a second trusted artist, Lia (who was also 10/10), so we could start at a reasonable time without compromising on quality.

My husband still gets emotional describing how I looked like myself on the most important day of our lives - and I can honestly say the same for each of my bridesmaids and our mums. We all looked like us at our very best, but still ourselves.

Each of my girls has completely different skin tones, hair colours and styles, and each wanted something unique. Everything was handled with kindness, joy, and meticulous attention to detail. Even our mums, who aren’t into hair and makeup at all, felt listened to and absolutely loved their looks.

During my trial, Yas and I spent time figuring out exactly how tousled I wanted my undone bun, eventually landing on Saoirse Ronan’s Jo March from Little Women as inspiration. On the wedding morning, I had a few tweaks in mind, and Yas had also gone away and done even more research on Jo’s effortless styling and how we could bring that to my look. The result was perfect.

The level of care, personalisation, and joyful organisation is second to none. We spent six hours with Yas and Lia on the morning of the wedding, and they genuinely felt like part of our group - embracing our loving chaotic - taking everything in their stride: bridesmaids lying down after their hair was done, me crying through my private vows, girls borrowing hair tools, and six people wanting completely different looks.

Do not hesitate to trust Yas with one of the most important tasks on one of the biggest days of your life.

Yasmin is a wizard at hair and makeup! I don't normally like how other people do my makeup and often leave hair salons feeling a bit off but Yasmin made me feel like an absolutely princess on my wedding day! I sent her some inspo pics and she created my ideal wedding look perfectly! My waves and makeup lasted all day and night! I even kept my hair like that for a few days after the wedding, it was so good 😅 Yasmin also did hair and makeup for my bridal party and everyone loved their final look. I'd book Yasmin again in a heartbeat and I'm so grateful for her talent, thank you!

I contacted yasmin bridal after being let down 6 months before my wedding by my original hair and makeup artist. In such short notice, most good MUAs and Hair Stylists were fully booked. She was very reassuring right from the start and found me an amazing hairdresser called Emily, which she sent me a profile of her detailing all her experience and pictures of her work. She looked great so we booked her immediately. You do have to pay a finders fee to yasmin in addition to the hairdressers normal rates but given the short notice we had, and having the reassurance that she only has good people on her books, you essentially pay for the convenience and peace of mind that you will look amazing on the day. Well.. what can I say about Emily. She was fantastic, everything she did looked effortless and she was much quicker than I expected, even on more complicated styles. We had 7 people for hair in total, myself, my mother and 5 bridesmaids, with a mixture of updo's and hair down. Her limit for a wedding was 7 but she also squeezed my neices hair in and also made her look gorgeous. She was a very calm and reassuring, a really warm presence on the day and on the hair trial. Would really recommend booking a hair trial also, what I pictured I wanted just just didn't look right on me or hold in my hair, so we ended up changing it completely for the wedding. My hair looks absolutely incredible on my photos and I couldn't be more grateful! Xx

Yasmin was super helpful and made me feel very at ease. The makeup and hair for myself and my bridal party was perfect. Well worth the money without a doubt :)

I've always said that I don't mind where my wedding is as long as I FEEL like a beautiful bride. Yasmin really made that happen for me and I can't thank her enough!

I hired Yasmin after stalking her Instagram for a while. I wasn't having a huge wedding, so I was looking for someone to do makeup on myself, my sister, my mother and my mother-in-law. With that in mind, I knew I wanted someone who could keep it quite natural-looking but still make me stand out.

The trial went great, I went to Yasmin's house and she was so welcoming and bubbly. Exactly the kind of person to help relax any nerves on your wedding day! We went for quite a natural look with tight curls and it was absolutely beautiful. However, when it came to my wedding day, I knew I wanted something a bit more dramatic with looser curls. This wasn't a problem at all for Yasmin and she listened to what I said and transformed me into something spectacular! I couldn't have been happier. Everyone loved their looks and I felt so beautiful.

Communication throughout was great and I never had any nerves or troubles worrying about hair & makeup just knowing it was all in hand.

We were also having an outdoor reception and later on in the evening it rained quite heavily, but this didn't stop any of us dancing in the rain! But my makeup held up incredibly well!! My hair didn't quite last through the torrential downpour but I still felt as beautiful at the end of the night as I did at the start!

Yasmin is phenomenally talented and I would recommend her to any bride wanting someone who will make her look exquisite and take any worries away ahead of the big day.
