  Maddy is amazing

  Maddy was fantastic. She is so calm and easy to talk to, she put me at ease and calmed my nerves for the big day. I am so pleased with my hair and makeup for my wedding day. The trial was great and Maddy really listens to what you want. Can’t recommend Maddy enough.

  A wonderful experience

  Maddy is just lovely. She is really easy to build a rapport with and is really easy going. Her make up style is very flexible and she really listens to your feedback. The quality of her kit is amazing with so many gorgeous brands of make up. She made me feel really, really beautiful on my special day.

  What can I say, absolutely amazing service from Maddy. From doing my mum and myself hair trial, to helping me buy the right hair extensions and doing our hair and makeup on my wedding day. She put us at such ease, and is such a lovely person. Would highly recommend!

  Everything I hoped for

  Maddy did my make up and hair for my son's wedding, and I could not have been happier. The whole process from initial enquiry, through the trial to the wedding day was handled professionally and efficiently. Maddy listened to all my suggestions and I received many complements on my hair and make up on the day. Would highly recommend

  I can’t recommend Maddy enough! I’ve never felt so confident - she made me feel calm, comfortable, and truly beautiful from start to finish. I had so many compliments throughout the day, and my hair and makeup stayed absolutely flawless the entire time. Maddy’s calm energy and flexibility made everything run smoothly, even in the middle of all the wedding day chaos. She blended in so naturally with my friends and family, making the whole morning feel relaxed and joyful. I’m so grateful to have had her as part of the day - thank you, Maddy!

  Gorgeous Natural Finish for a Sunny Spring Day

  Maddy was wonderful. We had a trial back in February (for a May wedding) and she gave me her time, trialling a Hollywood wave and natural tones make up. I then between trial and wedding day had changed my mind on hair style (half up half down) and make up coverage (v light and natural) due to weather predicted and wearing a veil. Maddy was incredibly understanding and put my mind at ease with her recommendations and advice. Maddy arrived promptly on the day, was incredibly professional and did my Mum's hair and make up, my hair and make up and my sister's hair. All ready in plenty of time of the ceremony, was very patient and everyone was so complimentary of our hair and make up, lasting into the night (even in 23+ degrees weather). A huge thank you to Maddy for making me (and my mum/sister) feel so great and confident on my special day. 100% recommend

  Definitely recommend !

  Maddie was absolutely lovely — so easy to chat to, which really helped calm the nerves on the big day. She made the whole morning feel relaxed and fun. The hair and makeup were stunning and lasted perfectly all day. Couldn’t have asked for more — highly recommend!

  Wedding hair and makeup that felt like me

  Maddy was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! From the trial to the big day, she made me feel so comfortable and listened to exactly what I wanted. She created a beautiful makeup and hair look that lasted all day even through dancing, hugs, and confetti chaos! I felt so confident and like the best version of myself. I’d recommend Maddy to anyone looking for a calm, talented, and truly lovely artist to have by your side on your wedding day.

  Couldn't wish for better

  Maddy was incredible and I couldn't recommend her enough! As a bride worried about sensitive skin and not wearing too much makeup but feeling some coverage, Maddy was so patient and understanding and created the perfect finish. She also helped me decide on how to style my hair, and combined several concepts into her own unique style that was perfect for me and my dress. I really enjoyed spending time with Maddy during my trial and the morning of the wedding, and she did a brilliant job of my hair and makeup and Mother of the Bride hair and makeup. Thank you Maddy for being part of our day!

  Fantastic experience with hair and makeup!

  I cannot recommend Maddy Johnson Hair & Makeup enough. Maddy is enormously talented as well as being prompt, professional and experienced. I had pretty decided ideas on my hair and makeup, and Maddy took the images I showed her and improved upon them, which I'd never have expected! The hairstyle was SO elegant but also really simple--not fiddly. I hate fiddly or fussy and it was perfect. My makeup was beautiful and subtle (with a little drama to the eyes) but it lasted the entire day without a problem. I spent the day being compared to Audrey Hepburn, which is pretty much beyond amazing. Also, Maddy is great to hang out and chat with while getting ready--another big plus! Recommend 100%
