  Laura is AMAZING at what she does

  I booked Laura for my wedding morning for hair and make up for myself and bridal party and she was an absolute star. I’m an older bride who felt incredibly self conscious about myself in general and didn’t really think anybody would be able to make me look good, but Laura managed to turn me into an actual real life princess!
  She made me feel beautiful and polished and did both my hair and make up fantastically.
  From the moment I met her at my trial she put me completely at ease and took time to curate a look that worked for me and made me look good!
  On the day itself, she was a calming and reassuring presence and felt like a long time friend.
  I thoroughly recommend Laura and if I ever am in need of occasion hair and make up again, Laura will be my go to stylist.
  Thanks Laura, for being an incredible person to work with and an absolute angel on my wedding day!!

  May Ball hair and make up

  I book to have my hair and make up done with Laura for every event (wedding,ball etc)
  She’s not only the best make up artist I’ve ever met, she’s also become a good friend. I am very particular in what I like, (and dont like) and Laura always accommodates my latest request. Laura has an up to date selection of colours … nothing is ever beyond her scope. If I could give 6 stars I world

  Perfect wedding hair

  I booked Laura for my hair on my wedding day and she was just perfect. From my first enquiry she was friendly and professional and gave me everything I needed. Meeting her at trial was just a lovely experience and she really understood what I wanted. My wedding day came around and Laura was right on time even though it was early! She was chatty and calm and it was so lovely having her with us as we were getting ready. Some of my bridesmaids changed their minds that day (!) and Laura was still so accommodating. She was amazing with my flower girls and we all got so many compliments. I loved my hair and felt truly amazing. Thank you Laura xx

  Wonderful service

  I just wanted to say a massive thank you for making me look so beautiful on my wedding day hair and makeup done by yourself. My makeup was absolutely stunning and I had so many compliments on it.
  And Laura you are such a beautiful soul so funny you made me feel at ease on a day that I was most nervous on so down to earth thanks so much I will never forget what a lovely lady you are ♥️

  From the moment I met Laura we hit it off and my experience with her from start to finish was a true delight. My make up was simple, natural and stunning, it didn't really feel like I was wearing any. It stayed perfect all day and I was complemented by all our guests as well as everyone who has seen our wedding photo's since. Without question I would highly recommend Laura Cartwright to anyone looking for a make up artist.

  Talented and Amazing

  Laura made my wedding morning so stress free and enjoyable. She listened to everything I wanted and her skills and knowledge made me feel in safe hands. She put up with me being indecisive and helped me find the perfect look! When she showed me my finished hair and makeup in the mirror I was stunned! So talented and genuinely a lovely person - thank you!

  Wedding hair & makeup

  I found Laura on Hitched. I emailed Laura to ask for a price for H&M for myself & 2 bridesmaids. Laura came back quickly. I then booked a trail for myself. It was a great experience. Laura is professional & chatty. She makes you feel that you are her only client. We chatted through what I wanted & Laura got to work. I never felt I was having H&M that Laura wanted it was all about how comfortable I felt & what I wanted. On the big day Laura turned up bang on time & started doing her magic. She made us all feel relaxed & pampered. I looked amazing & exactly the look I was going for. Hollywood glam. I had Hollywood waves with made up eyes & lashes, H&M lasted all day, even though Laura gave me a touch up pot. Which I did not need. It was perfect. If you are looking for a H&M professional then Laura is the women for the job. Laura even put my wedding shoes on for me on the day. She really was amazing. Price is reasonable & the whole experience is amazing. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. Thank you Laura xx

  Totally amazing!

  Laura is amazing she totally made me feel so relaxed & confident on my special day.
  My Daughter & I both had our hair & makeup done we were overwhelmed with how Laura made us look & feel.
  There was lots of laughter & we was even educated about which beauty products were best for our skin type.

  Absolutely AMAZING!

  Laura was absolutely wonderful on our wedding day and went the extra mile for us, my MOH has very severe allergies, Laura took the time to research all of the ingredients, patch test and do trials on her to make sure everything was ok. Everyone’s make up looked amazing, I would definitely use Laura again and I know my MOH will too.
