Second time using Gemma as I loved my makeup first time round about 10 years ago, so booked her as soon as I booked my wedding. Gemma’s communication was excellent, she was flexible in that I added and removed things from the original booking, we had a bereavement in the group and Gemma very kindly accommodating one bridesmaid having to reschedule, even offering to refund, but then bless her, fit her in last-minute at short notice, and right after she had returned from her holidays. Gemma fit strip lashes I had bought myself as I wanted lashes but minimal, she used her glue and they did not move.
So Gemma did myself (bride) makeup, one bridesmaid hair and 3 bridesmaids hair and makeup. Gemma travelled from the midlands to Knutsford, she arrived early, and got straight to work setting up. She just got on with it. Gemma is so lovely and down to earth and makes everyone feel relaxed.
My makeup was gorgeous, I was told I looked like a movie star. It didn’t move throughout day or night. Gemma listened to everyone at our trials, taking notes of everything she had used for each person, and making tweaks as requested on the day. They all looked beautiful and were very happy.
So glad Gemma was part of my wedding journey and day. Highly recommend her to anyone, wherever you live, as Gemma will travel, and her prices are fair.

Gemma was absolutely incredible! From the very start she was so informative and really listened to what I wanted, and when I wanted to change things from my trial she was super understanding and happy to accommodate! My hair and makeup was absolutely stunning and it really did last the whole day with no issues! I never wear makeup and she was able to make it feel like I wasn’t wearing anything whilst giving me the perfect amount of glam! She did an incredible job of my mum and sisters hair and makeup up too, again she really listened and accommodated for what they wanted too❤️ could not thank this lovely lady enough!Gemma Howard-Masters's reply:

Gemma is amazing at what she does and does it with such ease. Knew what would look good for me, my mom and my bridesmaids. She listened to what each of us wanted. But then suggested what would work better for each of us. The make up felt lovely, lasted all day no problem, hair was fab too. They all looked beautiful and was so so happy on the day. Gemma is kind, caring, creative, she listens to what youre thinking of and helps you to make the right choices for your big day! I honestly couldn't have made a better choice for me and my Bridesmaids! I would 100% choose Gemma again!

Absolutely amazing! 5*
I am so glad I found Gemma on hitched! Our wedding was across two days; Gemma was available for both days and was happy to travel to two different locations. I was unsure about what style to go for so I had two separate trials. Gemma was amazing at listening and really wanted to find the style that I was comfortable with.
Communication with Gemma was always really quick and clear and she made me feel very relaxed and comfortable right from the beginning. I went for a natural look but Gemma also made it look very special and I had lots of lovely compliments on our wedding day.
Gemma is a very talented hair and make up artist, very professional and friendly and I would strongly recommend Gemma to anyone!Gemma Howard-Masters's reply:

Gemma is an amazing hair and make up artist. As someone who doesn't wear make up and has naturally curly hair I was concerned about booking my wedding hair and make up. Gemma was lovely and understanding. She did the hair and make up for me, my Mom, my maid of honour and young bridesmaid and we all felt beautiful on the day. I would highly recommend Gemma, she was relaxed and friendly and I felt absolutely amazing 😍

I would definitely recommend this lady. Gemma listens to you and your needs, offers a trial run for the bride before the wedding to be sure the end results are right. Gemma arrives on time and communiates well to confirm the arrangements before the wedding date. Gemma styled both myself and 2 bridesmaids hair as well as the makeup, the finishing result for us was perfect, we would use this lady again.Gemma Howard-Masters's reply:
