I contacted Liz through Hitch and booked her for my wedding, probably the best decision I made throughout planning my wedding! She was amazing to work with from start to finish… I was a quite an indecisive bride and Liz really helped me in deciding what I wanted! She was flexible and communication was great. I cannot recommend this done enough for hair. For your wedding she was impeccable; my hair stayed all day through all the dancing and the running round, and I had multiple, if not every single person, comments on how beautiful my hair was. I felt like a princess, which I don't normally feel like she is. She is utterly amazing and deserves every bit of credit she gets. I would use her again in a heartbeat for other occasions. Liz was great, she took lots of time in the trial going through different looks and went above and beyond to create the look I wanted.
I wanted hair extensions which she sourced specially for me as my hair colour isnt one many people have. The colour match was perfect! The hair extension hire is so easy with Liz giving me a pre paid envelope to send them back in.
Nothing was too much to ask and she put her heart into getting my hair just as I wanted! -

Liz was absolutely incredible, I booked reasonably late on, having changed my mind on what I wanted and she could not have been more accommodating. I came for a trial, where we discussed exactly what I wanted and Liz totally got the brief and wasn’t phased. On the big day she offered such a professional, calming and friendly presence. Don’t hesitate to book Liz, I totally lucked out and will be enquiring for other events throughout the year because no one has ever made my hair look so good! ❤️ -

Liz is an amazing hair stylist and made me feel so relaxed on my wedding morning, she helped me feel like a princess, Liz was so professional and happy to help in anyway she could, having a hair trial first was very much needed as she suggested some new products which very much helped with the condition on my hair and felt so nice on the day, Liz you are awesome and any bride would be lucky to have you on the morning of there wedding. -

Liz was amazing, at my trial she did various styles I wanted to try as I didn’t have a clue what I wanted, unfortunately every style she did was so good I still didn’t know what I wanted afterwards lol. On the wedding day my hair and my bridesmaids looks phenomenal she is a perfectionist! Also a very friendly happy person to have around on the wedding day putting everyone at ease. Thank you Liz xx -

Gibson Girl for the day!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Liz made me look like I stepped out of a Gibson Girl painting (and no, I didn’t know what that was either)
I’ve always been a bit Victorian/Edwardian at heart, so when I told Liz that’s the vibe I wanted for my wedding hair, she completely got it. What I didn’t expect was to come away with a whole new obsession — the Gibson Girl. Liz introduced me to the idea and now I can’t stop thinking about it. 10/10 unexpected bonus content.
On the day itself, Liz created a look that was stunning, timeless, and completely unique to me — something I’d never have thought of myself but couldn’t imagine my wedding without now. I felt like a million dollars. My four bridesmaids looked incredible too, and somehow Liz also managed to wrangle my very opinionated 4-year-old into looking (and feeling) like an absolute princess. If she can do vintage waves AND toddler hair without breaking a sweat, she can do anything.
The trial run beforehand was a lifesaver — it took all the pre-wedding nerves away and left me genuinely excited instead of anxious about “big hair day.”
If you want someone who actually listens, nails the brief, and treats your hair like a genuine creative project rather than a rush job — book Liz. She’s an absolute talent, and I’m already trying to think of an excuse to book her again. -

I couldn’t recommend Liz enough! She was so lovely and friendly from start to finish and made me feel completely at ease on the morning of the wedding.
My hair looked absolutely perfect and exactly how I wanted it. I was so happy with how it turned out, and it lasted amazingly all day and night without me having to worry about it once!
Liz was such a lovely person to have there while we were all getting ready and helped make the whole morning feel really relaxed and enjoyable.

Liz Dunn was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She took so much time and care to make sure every single detail was perfect before we left for the church. You can tell she genuinely cares about every bride and wants their day to be as special and stress-free as possible.
From the moment we met her, she was so friendly and easy to get along with—it honestly felt like we'd known her for years. She created such a calm, relaxed atmosphere on the morning of the wedding, which made all the difference.
Liz styled my bridal hair, and I couldn't have been happier with it. It looked absolutely stunning and stayed perfect all day, even after removing my veil. She also styled the hair for my four bridesmaids, my mum, and my flower girl, and every single hairstyle was beautiful.
To top it all off, I had my one-year-old running around all morning, and Liz didn't mind in the slightest. She was so patient and even helped keep him entertained whenever he wanted to climb onto my lap, which meant I could relax and enjoy getting ready.
I genuinely couldn't have asked for more. Liz played such a big part in making my wedding morning feel so calm, enjoyable, and special. If you're looking for a talented hairstylist who truly cares about her brides, I couldn't recommend Liz highly enough. Thank you for everything! Mrs Carter.
