I am so glad I picked Philippa for my bridal hair and makeup! She’s so insanely talented and was so easy to work with. I was really worried that I’d end up not looking like myself on my wedding day and it was important that my makeup wasn’t a make over, but a glow up of how I usually look so I looked like the best version of myself. Well it’s safe to say that Philippa nailed the look I wanted. And on top of that my make up didn’t move all day, it stayed put despite all the sweating from the 32 degree heat that day which I was surprised but very happy with!

Part of the process was saving pictures of hair and makeup looks I liked for myself. One thing I recall was finding it difficult to find many dark haired pictures of the hair looks I was keen on. Many artists share blonde hair as it can look nicer in pictures, so I wasn’t sure how my dark hair would turn out. Especially as I didn’t have the bridal hair clips for the trial - I’m very indecisive so hadn’t chosen yet. Anyway I absolutely LOVED how my hair turned out!! Philippa did a fantastic job! I’m still getting compliments on my hair and makeup from people seeing the photos for the first time too!

On the day itself you want someone who’ll be patient and calm whilst all the nerves are rising in you, and Philippa was great talking to me and keeping my mind occupied. The bridal room always has so much going on in the morning so it’s really important to have a hair and makeup artist who doesn’t get flustered like Philippa.

I’d definitely recommend Philippa to anyone! She’s so so talented in her craft and such a professional! 10/10 would book her again for other formal occasions!

Philippa was brilliant! Not only is she exceptionally talented at what she does, she kept the whole bridal party on track without stress or pressure. Booking was easy, she really listened to what we wanted and the trial was great— I have her lots of options and was so indecisive but she used her creativity and showed me different looks that suited me. She was a great laugh too! :)
