I rarely wear make up so the thought of having my hair and makeup done by someone else on my wedding day was daunting! After some research on Instagram, I came across BeYou Weddings and immediately knew this was the look I wanted for my wedding day.

I met Pipa for a hair and makeup trial a few months before the wedding and, after discussing what I liked (and didn't like!) and looking over some Pinterest boards, she got started. I instantly felt in good hands with Pipa, she is extremely hygienic and tidy and clearly takes a great deal of pride in what she does. I was worried it might be awkward having someone so up-close and personal after having just met them but she was so calming and easy to talk to, I really enjoyed the trial.

On the day, Pipa arrived promptly at our venue and started with my Mum's followed by my bridesmaids hair and makeup. She listened to exactly what they wanted and, despite having only just met them, she delivered a look that they were thrilled with!

I have to mention that Pipa really went above and beyond her role in our wedding day when my Mum and I (who forgot to bring a crochet hook with us!) needed help to button up my wedding dress. We are so grateful!

As for my hair and makeup - I was beyond thrilled with it. It was light, comfortable and I loved how I felt in it. My hair was simple, elegant and stayed put all night - it even withstood a wild 3-hour session on the dancefloor!

Pipa is not only brilliant at what she does but she is also a wonderful person to be around so I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone!

We thought Alana was excellent on the make up and came well prepared and had a huge selection of make up. She was also very friendly and sociable and we didn’t feel awkward about having her in the house. She was punctual and professional and kept us updated on times she would be with us etc.

Absolutely loved Anna. Had my makeup done at my mum’s some what hectic household and Anna was so sociable. The kitchen was definitely the place to be! Really felt like an extension of my night out which is exactly what I needed. With a small baby at home getting ready is never easy and I always end up feeling less than fabulous.
