Perfect choice in every possible way
Using a 'A Finishing Touch' for my wedding was the most perfect choice for me.
In our initial appointment, I showed Catherine a handful of photos and I was amazed at how beautifully she captured exactly what I wanted and brought it to life. We did a couple of different hairstyles as I wasn't 100% sure which I'd prefer; she gave her opinion which I ran with and it was absolutely the right call. I felt like a princess on the big day.
Catherine is so easy to connect with, plus the pride she takes in her business shines through. It makes you feel so relaxed because you know she genuinely has your best interests at heart.
On the day itself, Catherine brought the most calming energy which was exactly what I needed. Her & her team were absolutely brilliant! The way they captured each of my bridal party's natural essence & beauty and enhanced it was so lovely to see. The morning flowed so perfectly with everyone chatting away. A team full of professionals who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend! -

Catherine did an incredible job - our hair and make up looked amazing and people complimented us all day on how great we looked. She also provided much needed moral support for me in the morning when I was having a panic!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and if I get the chance to book again for other events I’ll definitely do so - I’ve never felt more glamorous -

Catherine offered a premium and professional service from the offset with our initial phone call and consultation. The trial was invaluable, as I ultimately changed my mind on the style of my hair for the big day after having the trial.
Catherine was calming, made me feel at ease and of course utterly GORGEOUS on the day
Only reason for value for money being less stars was that the price was quite high in comparison to other quotes I received and my curls did drop quite a bit on the day. I was still happy with the look though, as they looked beach style curls but different from the initial style. -

Catherine and her team are absolutely incredible. Not only is she an incredibly talented hair and makeup artist that completely nailed the bridal look I wanted (and made my bridesmaids and our moms look flawless) but she also has the best presence ever. The morning of your wedding can feel chaotic but I didn't feel any of that with Catherine by my side. It truly felt like I had a good and reliable friend beside me to help keep me calm and excited in those precious hours before the ceremony. She was there until the final second and I knew from the first time I spoke with her that I was in good hands with Catherine. I was after a look that was "me on my best day" and she nailed it with a soft glam look that was still "me" but confident and ready to have the best day of my life. Thanks Catherine. -

Catherine and lily looked after me on our big day and I couldn’t be more happy! They were helpful, friendly and happy to change anything for me and my bridemaids. I can’t recommend Catherine enough, always in communication and I had to change our official wedding date several times 😂 -

Catherine was a dream to work with, and from the moment we spoke on the phone she put any nervousness I had about the make up at rest. Our design appointment was really enjoyable, and on the day Catherine made all of the small tweaks I’d reflected on and made me feel like I looked incredible! Her and Cody also did a great job with my bridal party. I’d book A Finishing Touch without any hesitation. -

Catherine (and her team) are absolutely incredible! From my trial hair and makeup day to the actual wedding, Catherine was speedy on communication, thorough and gave me the exact look I wanted. My entire bridal party was so so happy with their looks as well! -
