I'm Debbie, the artisan candlemaker behind Serendipity Candle Company, and I offer one-of-a-kind wedding accessories to couples celebrating their big day in Longham, Dorset. In 1992, these candles became the creation of one of the UK's first leading eco-friendly, bespoke handmade candle makers, Serendipity Candle Company. I'm the second candlemaker in our family since my Great Grandfather, who made candles in Hertfordshire for the streetlights in London in 1892. My great-grandad Charles had only one wax option, which was to work with tallow wax. But I knew I wanted to make a difference by using something other than tallow wax, since it is made from animal fat. So, in 1992, I had special plant-based waxes blended for me so that I could make that difference.

I work closely with couples and wedding planners alike to create the perfect candle theme and can even create personalised pet candles from your photos as wedding cake toppers. Our lead time is 14 days. Discounts for larger orders are available. Based in Dorset, but covers the whole of the UK and globally.
