ABOUT ME

I'm Mark, and at the start of 2026 I had something of a breakdown.

For the previous decade I had been forcing myself to continue in a corporate job that never suited me, pretending to be someone I'm not. I then did something quite ill advised when you have two young children in full time nursery - I quit to start up MP Films.

Two things had dawned on me. Firstly, doing a job that's driving you into the ground is really not healthy, and secondly, my boys were going to grow up watching their dad force himself through a miserable career.

That bleak outlook is not something I wanted for them. I wanted to show them that if you work hard, you can have a career in something you truly love, and I can't tell you how much I love filming weddings.

So here I am, working the hardest I ever have and I'm loving every second.

My Approach? No Ego

Something you'll never say when looking back at your wedding?

"I'm so glad we spent 45 minutes being dragged around by the Videographer"

Your wedding day goes by at a ridiculous pace so it should be spent with your loved ones. Not with a Videographer that's got one eye on shots for their social media.

If I can't get the shots I need from the normal running of your wedding day, I shouldn't be filming it in the first place.
