We had our wedding day back in sunny June at Sparth House in Lancashire. We found Jake via Hitched and after speaking to him on Zoom we knew straight away that he got exactly what we were looking for!

Planning weddings is stressful in all sort of ways but we felt in very safe hands when it came to our wedding film. As myself and my wife are both creative people ourselves, we loved Powell & Co's style of shooting and the mixture of film and digital footage in their videos.

We also loved the combination of the usual ceremony and speech shots alongside those smaller moments and reactions that you don't get to see during the chaos of the wedding day itself! It's lovely to be able to look back at those now, especially within such an amazing wedding film.

We simply asked Jake and his assistant to film whatever they felt worked as we knew we could trust them to do something great and we weren't wrong. Jake put us at ease throughout the entire day and a lot of the time didn't even notice the cameras were on us which was great for a couple who are somewhat camera shy and not used to being the centre of attention!

We love our wedding highlights film and would highly recommend Powell & Co to anyone who wants a beautifully shot wedding film. If we ever require a videographer again for an event, we wouldn't hesitate to get back in touch with Jake!

The search is over…this is your videographer! I had followed Jake’s work way before i was engaged and knew he would be the perfect person to film our day when it arrived. Leading up to the day the communication was great. We were completely on the same page. Then on the day he and his assistant were completely professional and so comfortable to be around- working really well alongside our photographer. And after the wedding our guests all said how they hadn’t even noticed the them- they were just in the background and blended in. Couldn’t recommend enough!

We opted for Powell & Co. as our videographer after checking out some of their previous work and loving it! We were not disappointed! A brief chat with Jake over the phone prior to the wedding confirmed we had made the right choice as he was so lovely and I knew we would feel at ease with him recording us throughout the day. I was slightly apprehensive about being taken off during the day to get footage, but honestly, those were some of our most favourite parts of the wedding day and some moments we will remember forever. Powell & Co. didn’t feel like people we had hired but more like friends we had invited to the wedding. The final video we have received is better than we could have ever imagined and is just the icing on the cake to the service they provided! I just wish we could do it all over again!

Well what can I say…. Words cannot describe how magical our wedding video is. They turned up early on the morning and went above and beyond the whole day! Powell & co, I would highly recommend these guys to any couple getting married. Thank you so so so much for making our day perfect!!!!
