Joe was really gooood!!! He was at the venue from the makeup till evening. Not just capturing the important moments of our lives, he also captured the ambience of that day! When you are watching the video, it brings you back to that day. Everybody loves the wedding video, and 100% recommend to everyone!

Joe at Idaho Productions is an incredible videographer that you need to book for your wedding!

Both before and after our wedding the communication we received from Joe was fast, professional, and informative. He was able to answer any queries we had, and asked his own questions to make sure he knew what we wanted for our wedding video. He asked us to fill out a concise but thorough questionnaire about our day and what we wanted from our video, plus asked for a face sheet for key family members/ people in the wedding party/ other guests we wanted included in the video. He then utilised both of these to make sure our video was what we wanted. Joe was also willing to put in extra time before our wedding day to film a place special to us to include in our highlights video. This went above and beyond what we had expected from our videographer, and although we chose not to do this we thought it was a fantastic idea if there is somewhere in particular special to your relationship that otherwise wouldn't be featured in your wedding day.

On the wedding day Joe arrived early to get some beautiful shots of the venue's grounds, the ceremony room, and the wedding breakfast room set up. This was great as we didn't have the chance to see the rooms prior to guests arriving, and gave us the option to include these finer details in the wedding video. Joe quietly and discreetly moved around during the day, filming a vast array of shots which captured our day perfectly. During the morning he moved from location to location to capture both the bridal party getting ready, the groom and groomsmen getting ready, the venue, and guest arrival. He was not imposing at all but was always in sight if we needed him. He worked around our photographers mindfully. He also gave the option for the groom and those delivering speeches to be mic'd up, which meant that the audio for our wedding vows and speeches is crisp and sharp.

When it came to delivering our video, Joe stuck to our guidelines of what/ who we wanted mainly featured in the video, and gave us opportunity after we received the first draft to make changes to the video in terms of shots/ music choices etc. He actively encouraged us to be critical and to express any tiny thing we wanted changing, showing a real commitment to delivering us a final product we were truly happy with. We let Joe have creative control of the video, as his filming style is beautiful. Having seen previous videos of Joe's, along with our requests for what he should include, we therefore had some idea of what to expect. However, we were still completely blown away by the video we received. It is a perfect capture of our day, the emotions, the energy. The music chosen by Joe was a perfect choice to transport us back into the moment and the transitions between shots and the different parts of the day are smooth and the whole video flows beautifully. The quality of the video is exceptional.

Part of Joe's service is also to provide us with all of the raw footage from the day, plus films of our ceremony and speeches. We cannot wait to get these and fully immerse ourselves in the whole day all over again!

Honestly we cannot recommend Idaho Productions enough. We had no issues with this vendor at any point in the wedding planning process and as said above the final product is incredible. Whilst we love our wedding photos, the video element really is something that in hindsight we would have massively regretted not including. Our wedding was without a doubt the best day of our lives, and the videos let us keep it alive in our memories in a way that photos just can't. Joe is a lovely, professional, polite videographer who will really add something to your day if you choose to book him. Thank you so much again Joe!
