Ridgeway Golf Club is an event venue based between Caerphilly and Cardiff that boasts stunning natural views and a spectacular backdrop of the Bristol Channel and the Vale of Glamorgan. The marquee at Ridgeway overlooks the golf course and will create a memorable wedding. The staff here are dedicated to making your time at the marquee special and exceeding your expectations. As long as you are flexible, they will accommodate any budget you have.

Ridgeway offers many beautiful areas to make your dream wedding come true. Their new marquee can host up to 100 guests, providing a picturesque backdrop for your reception. The venue also offers a kitchen for catering, dance floor, and parking.

From the reception and flowers to the photography and entertainment, the staff will ensure your wedding day is up to your expectations and needs. Ridgeway offers banquets, photography, music, decoration, drinks and beverages, and catering services. The venue only covers one event per day, so your wedding will be the only main event!

Included in the menu are 3-course wedding breakfast and an evening buffet. The business offers traditional and regional menus. You can modify the menu as you wish. Our wedding
wow,where do i start? me and roy attended a wedding last year,at Ridgeway that evening roy proposed, we knew straight away what we needed to do ,straight on the phone to Bill at Ridgeway, no other venue was entertained.
From the moment Rob picked me up, i was somehow made to feel like the most important person in the world .
Ally & Ollie the Decor was stunning ,you made sure we always had a drink in our hand . The hog roast and buffet was absolutly amazing ,everyone went above and beyond ,always kept us informed what was happening and when .
Entertainment ,wow Rob, Ollie you was amazing, the games, quizes,you got every one up dancing , laughing , i didnt want the night to end .
and Gareth i want to say a special thank you , the support you gave me , always at the end of phone , reasuring me .why was i so worried lol . you are all a wonderfull team , made some special friends .
For anyone getting married id would recommend Ridgeway golf club , you wont be dissapointed. i could go on and on , thank you for also getting us home safe and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The best day of my life with the support of the ridgeway team
The ridgeway team were outstanding throughout my wedding. I booked my wedding 8 weeks in advance and although I didn't have much time for planning, it didn't matter as the ridgeway team were there by my side guiding me throughout. There is not one fault I could pick woth the team, the venue, the food or the service. Absolutely 5 star throughout.

Dream Wedding
What can I say? We had our wedding at Ridgeway in September and it was incredible.
Gareth orchestrated our entire day and it was simply perfect.
Every detail was beautiful.
The food for the wedding breakfast and evening buffet was delicious.
All the staff were incredible! Big shout out to Gareth, Bill, Ollie, Ally, Rob and all the bar and catering staff.

The best day we could have ever asked for!
Originally we booked a venue that was going to cost us upwards of £12,000, but shortly after realising we would have trouble starting a family and required fertility treatment privately, we decided to find a “budget venue”.
Ridgeway golf club fit the check, and although it was “budget friendly” by cost, it exceeded our expectations and more. The staff at ridgeway went above and beyond to make sure our big day was perfect. From planning, to decorations, to entertainment, food, and getting everyone involved, it was by far the best wedding we had ever attended (and not just because it was our own haha). Every single person who attended said they thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and so many of our guests told us it was also the best wedding they had been to!
We honestly thought we’d be settling for “less” when our budget dropped, but I truly believe that our wedding at ridgeway was better than it ever could have been elsewhere, regardless of price tags! Don’t hesitate booking ridgeway if it is one of your potential venues, I promise you’ll have the best wedding ever if you do book here! :)

Our special day
There is nothing bad either myself or husband can say about Ridgeway. From the moment we viewed the venue we knew this was going to be our special place..
They make everything perfect for you. Food and evening buffet is outstanding. The way they decorate the place is just stunning. But most importantly they really make sure your day is stress free. Evening entertainment is a must, it gets everyone in the mood to continue the evening party especially after such a busy day.
We will forever be grateful to Ridgeway and the staff for starting our next chapter as a married couple with a bang.

Wedding 2021!
We got married here in 2021 and we had the best day our family still talk about it to this day. We had such a magical day and the staff were outstanding. The food was amazing and the nightlife was even better our wedding party was fantastic.

Unforgettable Experience
From the moment we arrived to view the venue we were sold! Gareth put us at ease and no question or request went ignored. The setting was absolutely stunning and was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. Every single person who attended our wedding said it was the best one they had been to.....mainly due to the fun staff and the games played. We will never forget a single moment of our day and would recommend them to anyone who needed a venue for any occasion!

Our special day!
The Ridgeway was absolutely amazing from the very start of planning from the moment we walked through the door for our first meeting everyone was polite and friendly, welcoming, our son has special needs and we was unsure if a wedding was something we could do without unsettling our son and making things harder for him after our first meeting the ridgeway was set as our place we booked to have our wedding in 3months they was so understanding and helpful everything was made easy from setting the date to organising extras we hired an outside company for a play area for the kids that was no issue I'm such a worrier but Gareth answered every question I had and squashed any worries immediately helped give me ideas, the day it's self was absolutely amazing and everything I had ever dreamed we went for a sunset wedding and the evening entertainment was brilliant had everyone on there feet laughing and enjoying them self's staff would check in periodically through the evening make sure we had drinks if everything was okay nothing was to much for this wonderful team. Loads of my guest commented how good the dj was how helpful with helping my older and youngwr gueat with the magic mirror which was a lovely addition to my day i loved looking through the photos the next day, the dj made sure the second copy was put into my guest book so no moments were missed. I highly recommend the rideway!

we had an amazing wedding we’ve had so many compliments how beautiful it was there and how everyone had so much fun on the dance floor!
How fun it was how they have never seen a dance floor jump like that during sweet Caroline ! Xx
we are beyond happy thanks Gareth and the team for all that you did for us and following our wishes from start to finish and last Minuit changes e.g photos of my late mother in law to be displayed and where I wanted everything.

Couldn’t find a fault!
Genuinely overwhelmed by how perfect our special day felt, and it was all thanks to the people at Ridgeway. Gareth was honestly one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and could not do enough for us in the planning and run-up to the wedding. Ollie, Ally, Rob and Bill were beyond measure, nothing was too much and they were absolute professionals whilst remaining personable and kind! The timing of the day was fantastic, the entertainment was incredible and every single guest in attendance mentioned how brilliant the staff were. The venue itself didn't falter in any way either and was dressed absolutely beautifully. If we could redo it all again - we would pick Ridgeway 100/100 times. We can't thank you all enough!❤️

Wedding May 2023
Had an amazing day at the Ridgeway for our wedding in May 2023. Gareth the wedding planner was brilliant, always responding to queries promptly. Rob picked myself and my bridal party up and kept us calm chatting and joking. Alison was so friendly and professional and evening entertainment with Bill was fantastic. Everyone was up dancing and getting involved. Amazing location with stunning scenery around the golf course and food was great too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Ridgeway for a wedding venue. I’d love to do it all over again.

Ridgeway Golf Club
Words aren't enough to describe how perfect these guys made our day, we had a vision and everyone at the venue went above and beyond to make it happen. The staff made us as a couple and every one of our ur guests feel so comfortable. The food tasted amazing and there was plenty of it. If i could have my wedding day again i would pick Ridgeway over and over again.
