  A beautiful day had by all!

  Our wedding at the Ware Priory in was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped into this historic venue, we knew we were in for a day to remember. Set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens, the Priory served as the perfect backdrop for our wedding day, lending an air of elegance and serenity that captivated us and our guests.
  
  The staff were phenomenal—attentive, professional, and keen to accommodate our every need. From the planning stages to the execution, they made the process seamless, allowing us to focus on enjoying our special day.
  
  The catering (Magpie Catering; partnered with the Ware Priory) was exceptional, with a diverse menu that catered to all palates. Each dish was prepared to perfection, making the dining experience a true highlight of the day.
  
  As for the facilities, the Priory offered a delightful mix of traditional charm and modern comforts. Whether it was the exquisite architecture of the Priory Room or the modern amenities, everything was geared towards making our wedding an unforgettable occasion.
  
  But what truly made our day remarkable was the atmosphere. There's something ineffable about saying your vows in a place steeped in history and beauty. The Ware Priory didn't just host our wedding; it added to our story, imbuing it with a sense of grandeur and timeless romance that we will cherish forever.

  Some issues which affected our day

  We are sorry that we cannot wholeheartedly recommend Ware Priory. It is a great venue and even though it rained on our day they had a plan B for the reception and photos which worked well. The sales team are lovely and as far as wedding venues go it is good value for money.
  
  However, we had significant issues on the day with sound systems in all three different rooms. For the ceremony the sound system at the back of the room was not loud enough - I could only hear the music walking up or down the aisle very softly and when we signed the register we couldn't hear our chosen music. Most guests said they couldn't hear this. During our drinks reception inside (conservatory) there was no music although we requested this more than once. For the wedding breakfast in Fletchers Lea we had to ask several times for music to come on, and a lot of the meal was eaten in silence. When the music was on, several speakers weren't working around the room so you could only really hear the music at one end. This was a problem for our speeches as many people could not hear them which meant they also were mostly met with silence.
  
  There were a couple of other issues which were also disappointing - the day before the wedding we saw the room set up and emailed our events manager (we didn't have a number to contact her on before the ceremony). Some of the glasses that had been put out were smeared or dirty with lipstick on them, and there wasn't enough toilet rolls, soap and paper towels in the toilets. Unfortunately the events manager didn't read this email and these issues were not addressed.
  
  We were not contacted by anyone at Ware Priory for feedback following our wedding, and this request for a review was the first we heard from them so our apologies to them if this is a surprise.

  A superb experience

  We decided 5 weeks from proposal to wedding would be fine! Kat at Ware Priory was amazing before the wedding and on the day. We had 70 day and more evening guests and the ceremony room and conservatory were perfect. Nothing I could write here would be enough

  Nothing was too much trouble…a perfect day !

  We cannot thank Ware Priory enough for delivering the perfect day !
  
  From the initial enquiry, to booking and then the day itself it was just a breeze. We felt so lucky to have such a cooperative venue during a global pandemic and are so thankful they did everything they could to make it feel as normal as possible.
  
  The food was great, the service was amazing, the security were friendly, the bar was so quick and Kat was just brilliant with everything and everyone had nothing but compliments! It just ran so smoothly there is honestly nothing I could fault anyone on.
  
  We both loved every second of our day and so did everyone else, so just thank you so much !

  A truly magical day

  Myself and my now husband got married at Ware Priory in August 2021. From the first visit of viewing the venue right up until our big day (roughly 18 months) the members of staff we met were so helpful, happy to answer any question/worries we had, the communication was excellent and they were pretty quick at getting back to us. Kat made sure our day went smoothly, and ensured everything happened when/as it it should. Highly recommend for a beautiful venue, stunning grounds, and very fairly priced.

  Thoroughly splendid

  We had our wedding reception here and it was a thoroughly splendid day. The venue itself is lovely, with a pretty outdoors area to spill into (we were lucky with the weather) and lots of nice backdrops for photos. The support from the venue staff (in particular Kat) both in the planning and on the day was top notch (including accommodating some specific drink requests), and the catering (provided by Gusto) was most excellent, and all quite reasonably priced.

  The ware priory

  The Priority were very helpful in finding us a great space in their venue that kept within our budget and made us feel comfortable through the process of booking. On the wedding day everything went smoothly and even helped put with the music for us! Beautiful grounds

  Perfect Ceremony

  Brilliant and so helpful when we had to switch venue last minute due to covid restrictions. We actually think the Priory was better than our original choice. Lots of lovely areas for photos too!

  Thank you for such a lovely day

  Hi. I never normally do this but I was so very impressed with every member of your staff at the wedding of my friend Carly to Neil on Saturday.
  
  The main lady, I apologise I did not get her name, was outstanding! The young ladies handing out the champagne was so quick, efficient and friendly. Once inside the main lady organised her staff so very efficiently; ensuring the meal was served quickly. Excellent.
  
  The lady dancing behind the bar was great - how lovely to see staff enjoying themselves too but not distracting away from serving us so quickly.
  
  I had ordered a cab to take me home to Letchworth at 11pm. When I was still waiting at 11.10, one of the workers Ray enquired and I told him my cab had not turned up and that my mobile phone was dead. He took me into reception where a lady named Donna called my cab company and got that sorted out and they then charged my mobile for me! Thank you so much to Donna and Ray for looking after me (I am a lady on my own).
  
  I was so impressed by Ware Priory and the staff and shall certainly recommend it to all.
