We had our wedding on the 6th June 2026 and it was such a stunning place in Dorset to have a wedding venue. We chose the full package and was well worth the price! I think the only downside is that if you have a large number of guests during the speeches, there needs to be more than one speaker as some guests in the other room couldn’t hear the speeches. Apart from that everything was superb, very helpful with the finance costs and Lauren was our coordinator and she was always available when we needed to ask her anything or meet up. It started to rain during our wedding but by the evening, it had cleared up! Outstanding place and staff -

Wow wow wow, what a venue!!
Getting full use of the house and gardens is everything you need.
Staff are super helpful and keep everything running so smoothly from the 1st meeting all the way through to the end of the wedding day.
Cannot recommend this place enough and if your looking for an all in one venue that offers picturesque gardens and views this is the best place to go.

A wonderful underrated venue
Upton house was the perfect venue for us. We had an amazing day. The setting was beautiful and the staff were wonderful. One thing we loved is how many room you have available. With the help of the team at Upton in the planning stages we found great way to use each space differently in a way to add to the day! I can’t recommend Upton house enough and the price is even better! -

We got married on the 17/5/25, we chose UCP as we are there pretty much every week with our 3 children, so it was the perfect venue for us.
The house is stunning, with lovely, open, light rooms and a quirky, hidden bar. It barely needed any decoration.
The grounds were beautiful, and perfect for photos, especially as the sun was out!
The staff were great, very professional and everything ran very smoothly.
Lauren told us to not think or worry about a thing and to just enjoy our day...and we really did!
I would highly recommend UCP as a venue.

Wedding Reception
We had our wedding reception at Upton House and it was the most magic experience. From the very beginning Lauren was friendly, responsive and listening to us. Upton house is the most beautiful scene for any event. I couldn’t have asked for more and we were blown away with how easy everything was for us. Thank you so much for everything.

Our wedding reception - July 2024
We chose Upton because of its character and beautiful grounds. Our planning process and day itself wasn’t without its hiccups.. such as structural building work needed completely blocking off the front of the house for the big day and the fire alarm going off in error during the evening resulting in all guests having to exit the house and stand in the garden whilst it was investigated. This was luckily in the last hour of the evening but it wasn’t an ideal way to end the evening of your wedding. Despite these issues I would recommend Upton house as Lauren was great at managing them and minimising the stress and frustration they caused.
The house is beautiful and has some great areas for photos, we used the different rooms to our advantage such as a kids play area and a seating room with the cake etc for older guests and the main room for the dance floor. We had heavy rain all day unfortunately but the size of the house and its versatile areas saved the day and made it a day to remember forever ❤️ -
