  Truly magical!

  The Rettendon Lodge events team made our twilight wedding day we will never forget. Everything - down to the decorations, the tables, the catering,and the entertainment was organised brilliantly and the team kept be calm every step of the way, making our special day truly magical for not just us two, but for all our guests too. THANK YOU.

  Great venue, lovely staff, magical day

  Fantastic venue, the marquee looks absolutely lovely and they made a really big effort with it. The attention to detail was spot on. We went for a wedding package and all the people who looked after the individual elements like the DJ, wedding sign lady etc really listened to what we wanted and came up with a unique experience.
  
  We felt like we got great value for money and they weren’t trying to hit us with extra charges for everything like a lot of venues do.

  Best day of our lives

  What can I say!! The MOST magical day, nothing was too much trouble for the team. Staff, venue, food, atmosphere, were all amazing and we were actually shocked at how reasonably priced our day was. When I compared it to others it is 100% outstanding

  Fantastic Evening

  Myself (David) and my Wfie (Jamie) had a belated wedding reception at the lodge country inn and couldn’t have been happier with the venue and staff.
  
  The events planner Samantha was very responsive and was always there to answer any questions we had and was very helpful on the evening itself as was all of the staff.
  
  We arrived at the lodge at midday and had lunch and the food was very good. We then checked into our rooms which was very easy. The rooms were very clean and everything we.
  
  At the party in the evening the marquee looked amazing and everyone mentioned what a lovely time they had and mentioned how nice the food was. The Staff in the marquee were very friendly.
  
  I would definitely recommend using this venue for any celebration you have as it’s very good value for money.

  Stress free

  We spent time as you doing looking at different venues for our wedding. When we met the team at The Lodge their experience shone through and their packages made planning the wedding so much simpler. (No hidden extra costs)
  The Lodge also gave us the opportunity to hold our wedding outside in the garden, something we were very keen on. We felt that not only would the venue be stunning, but that we would be looked after and taken care of.
  And we were right! Our wedding day was simply amazing, the weather teased us but the team looked after us, and we truly had the most amazing day. The venue looked stunning, food was amazing and the staff ensured everything ran smoothly, even giving attention to detail. They also worked seamlessly with the suppliers and liaised with them to ensure smooth running of the day, we didn’t worry about anything apart from enjoining ourselves - which we did! We are still smiling now 😊
  Extra bonus - we stayed over night in one of the hotel rooms on sight, with our wedding party and enjoyed a lovely breakfast the next morning.

  Outstanding from the events team who made our day a dream come true

  The whole experience from when we first met Sam the events manager, through to the moment we left the Lodge on the night of our wedding, we were beyond happy with the Lodge. Nothing was ever a problem, the team were very organised and made us very comfortable on the day, sticking to timings really well. The food was delicious we had so many compliments after the day of the food and the bar staff service on the night too. I am a perfectionist and couldn’t have been more happy with the service we received, we really did have the best wedding day. Thank you to the wonderful team at the Lodge, we would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married.

  Fantastic day

  Sam and the team done there up most to make our day special going far and beyond to make it perfect , great country venue with beautiful private garden and pagolia to get married , we had the summer sensation package and it’s defo worth the money and great hotel rooms with enough space for bridal party to get ready on site , defo worth having a look xx

  As a supplier cattering allong side this Venue, I cannot complement enough as the most understanding, patient and loving wedsing cordinators and let you all know that the team behing The Lodge Weddings will make anything requested at your wedding happen. They will work in just about any way they can to make your dreams come true on your special day. Plus, when comes to fun, tgis is our favorite wessing venue in Essex. Pure joy every time!
