  Our dream wedding

  Where do I even begin!
  We got married on the 20.05.23 and honestly it was the best day of our lives.
  Talhenbont was only 1 of 2 venues we went to view and the second we drove down the drive we fell in love instantly! It had absolutely everything that we wanted in a venue, the natural beauty around the venue is just breathtaking!
  The venue is everything we could have asked for, full of character! The accommodation on site was also amazing!
  Our dream wedding would not have been possible without the staff at talhenbont.
  When we first met Alicia we knew this was our venue, regardless of the appearance of the venue, Alicia was the main reason we booked. Her attention to detail and the way she spoke about everything from the get go, was just so inviting and we just knew our wedding would be amazing with Alicia running the show, she genuinely cares about your wedding which is rare to come by at other venues.
  we had constant contact with Alicia throughout the wedding planning phase and she was so quick to help with everything, we honestly can’t thank her enough!
  We also had the privilege of working with Charmaine, and I what a pleasure that was. Charmaine was so on the ball about everything and again was just so enthusiastic about our wedding and it was just such fabulous energy to be surrounded by!
  I honestly could not reccomend this venue more if I tried! We wish we could do the whole weekend over again!

  If Perfection was a venue it would be Talhenbont Hall

  We got married here on 13th April 2022 and to say it was absolute perfection was an understatement.
  
  Venue: We had the whole estate for 3 days (3pm Tuesday - 3pm Thursday), including all the cottages on site for our guests (4 cottages; including the house the venue sleeps 42) - all included in the venue cost. The estate is simply beautiful, with ducks and Snowy the peacock, many bridges, a lovely river, lush greenery - the option to marry outdoors under an arch (weather dependant) or indoors in the new Coach House. We were advised by Alicia to wed in the Coach House due to bad weather the day before, and it in no way compromised anything. The rooms were/are all beautiful, with many bathrooms - everything was so clean and fresh. The night before the wedding we all had a chippy tea from a local shop (Allports) recommended by Alicia which was fantastic, but there's an option to cook with the Aga oven (ovens in cottages too). All cottages and thw main house have all amenities; we wanted for nothing. Alicia even provided us with a breakfast hamper!
  
  Staff: juat flawless. So incredibly helpful and took care of everything. The service was second to none, really friendly, they all felt like old friends. Bethan sorted everything on the wedding day, making sure everyone was where they were meant to be when they were meant to be, and took care of all the suppliers when they arrived - the day went without a hitch. Cheeky Chillis food was amazing and their staff incredible, accommodated a special diet for my dad too who has kidney failure. The turnovers of the rooms from Ceremony, to wedding breakfast, to dance floor were swift, no one had to worry about a thing. They made us all feel so special, even taking guests back to their rooms after the reception.
  
  The day after the wedding checkout wasn't until 3pm which gave us enough time to pack up and enjoy the venue and grounds with out loved ones before starting our new married life. We all had tea on the new terrace overlooking the river as a new family and spoke so lovingly about everything. It was truly perfect.
  
  I couldnt recommend Talhenbont enough. It felt like i was in a Jane Austin novel, I wasn't stressed at all - the staff enabled me to just live and enjoy our special day. I'll cherish the memories for a lifetime.

  worth every penny..

  Planning a wedding with Alicia at Talhenbont is definitely the way forward! She became a part of our family and she was absolutely amazing and that was even before our wedding took place! Our wedding in Talhenbont was out of this world, everything was perfect and I couldn’t wish for a better day! Alicia, Paul and Daisy were professional and I am so so excited to go back for our anniversary. My advice to all engaged couples is simple- take a look at Talhenbont Hall I promise you, you will not regret it! We looked and didn’t bother looking anywhere else as we knew instantly that this was our place! Perfection!

  Highly recommend!

  Just arrived home after an amazing couple of days at Talhenbont Hall celebrating the marriage of our son Iwan and his beautiful wife Lisa. Absolutely stunning location, rooms and all accommodation were awesome. Everything from start to finish was faultless,. The wedding ceremony, the meal, the party at the end of the day, all went so smoothly and professionally done with the help of the brilliant team at Talhenbont. Highly recommended, thank you all for making our son and daughter in laws beautiful day so special and perfect xx

  The 3 days were absolutely wonderful!

  Myself and my husband were married at Talhenbont hall 18/02/2020. We stayed with close friends and family in the main hall and cottages from the 17th until the 19th. These 3 days were absolutely wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for more from Alicia, Paul and little Daisy. They went out of their way to make our day and the build up as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Everyone was blown away by the beauty of the location and are itching to get back there! We fell in love with the location the minute we saw it and couldn’t imagine anywhere being as stunning with owners so kind and helpful. The family work so hard to ensure weddings are truly what you visioned and nothing is too much. Alicia was responsive all the time and there to help anytime. The cottages and main hall were truly beautiful and full of character, we had guests from 20-80 and everyone felt comfortable and safe, the accommodation is above anything a hotel could offer. The only downside is that we can’t go back and do it again!!!! Thank you Alicia, Paul and Daisy. Iwan and Lisa Williams.

  It was one of the best day of our lives

  I got married here on 07/12/2019. As soon as we saw Talhenbont Hall and met with Alicia and Paul we knew we wanted to get married here and can honestly say it was one of the best days of our lives. From the first meeting with Alicia she made everything so easy then her and the team worked tirelessly on the day to make it better than we ever expected. We booked the venue with all the surrounding cottages for the full weekend, which made it extra special having all our friends and family with us on the Friday night as well. The main hall and each cottage was decorated for Christmas and we had the fires on all weekend to make it the perfect winter wedding. Wish we could do it all over again!

  The venue was stunning

  We cannot recommend Talhenbont highly enough

  We got married here last month and can honestly say it was the best day of our lives! The venue is absolutely idyllic and the love and care the Alicia and Paul have put into the venue has really created a place that is truly unique. They were so supportive throughout the whole process and genuinely don't think you could find a better place to tie the knot. We cannot recommend Talhenbont enough!
