  Stunning wedding venue

  Sulgrave was the last visit of the day when we were looking for venues and as soon as we met Charlotte and saw the venue we knew it was for us. The orchard, rose garden and stunning backdrop of a tudor manor was all too good to be true. Charlotte was lovely to work with when planning the day, she answered all of our questions and was always fully enthusiastic of our ideas and visions for the day itself. Our guests throughout the day would constantly exclaim about the scenery and rolling hills around the gorgeous gardens and manor and how lucky we were to have had a the day there. Local suppliers were amazing in helping our day come to life and also enjoyed working within Sulgrave Manor. I just wish we could do it all again!

  A great destination for our journey so far

  My mum was the one that first suggested Sulgrave Manor as a venue for our special day. We loved it on the first viewing and knew it could be perfect. We loved how we were able to put a personal touch to every part of our day at this venue and although we went through a number of different ideas and options with Alex and Charlotte and went to the venue for viewings a number of times - the girls couldn't have done enough for us to make our day perfect. We were glad we didn't go for the marque attached to the barn option, as we felt this would have spoilt the look and feel of the venue. It worked much better for us to use the Buttery for shelter before the meal and before the evening entertainment. As it was, the March weather was amazing and the shelter wasn't required but it allowed us to have some space for cards and pressies and coffee and tea whilst the Barn was turned around for the evening. I don't think we could have had a more perfect setting, venue and day.

  Our dream come true!

  We celebrated the best day of our lives thus far at Sulgrave Manor in October this year. The venue is a real hidden gem as it's the perfect mix between grand and intimate, accessible and tranquil. We added a marquee to the main hall and it was a great idea and provides an alternative to the grounds in case the rain gods decide to grace the wedding. Julie and the rest of the staff were amazing all through, especially Julie, who ensured that we had as much help as required at the pace that we found suitable. The best part about the venue is the flexibility it offers in terms of choosing one's own caterer, decor and absence of corkage on drinks. Not once during the planning did we feel like we were paying anything unreasonable on account of the venue and both of us are still thrilled that we found Sulgrave Manor as it allows for either an elaborate wedding or a budget affair.
  
  Ours was a same-sex, inter-racial , multilingual and international wedding with our guests travelling to Sulgrave from 10 different countries and every single person loved the venue and the charming little village surrounding it.

  Hidden Gem

  This venue is amazing it's got the best of everything the old character in the Manor house with the modern twist in the barn. It's two venues for the great price of one.
  We got married here in July 2015 and it was the most amazing day. Julie the wedding organizer was so helpful and made everything run as smoothly as it possible could. And she was always quick to respond to any questions.
  You need to see this venue in person to really appreciate it's full beauty.

  Fantastic location

  My daughter's wedding reception was held here on 1st August 2015. The photographer was spoilt for choice as there were so many options for beautiful photographs. We hired a marquee which adjoined the main hall, to add extra space for all our guests. Everything went really well and Julie and the Sulgrave staff were brilliant throughout all the preparations and on the day. Several of our guests, including my husband and I, stayed at B&Bs in Sulgrave, just walking distance from the venue - perfect! Thank you Sulgrave!

  Our wedding day

  Sulgrave Manor is the perfect place to host your wedding. A beautiful building with a fascinating history surrounded by beautiful grounds.
  
  We had a lot of guests from America so the history of the venue linked to George Washington was simply perfect.
  
  The staff are incredibly helpful throughout the process of planning your day but also very flexible in letting you have the freedom to dress the venue and to cater it to your needs.
  
  The ceremony room is stunning and does not need any dressing as it such a stunning and intimate room.
  
  Overall it was the perfect venue for our wedding.

  11 July 2015 Wedding Reception

  My husband and I nearly picked Sulgrave Manor sight unseen for our wedding reception purely based on its British-American heritage and history. Being American, I liked the idea of bringing the two countries together and Sulgrave Manor was an ideal choice for us. After visiting in person (and having a lovely tour of the buildings, gardens, and grounds - the orchard is my absolute favorite place), we knew we had found our venue. Julie and her staff were truly exceptional throughout the 18 months we planned, and it was no surprise to us that our wedding reception went off without a hitch. If you are looking for a cozy reception nestled in a small village with an English country atmosphere, this is the place for you. Hands down, this was the best choice we made. Bravo and thank you for everything!

  The perfect day

  My wife Abi and I got married at Sulgrave Manor on Saturday April 11th 2015. It could not have been any better. We had such an incredible day and the venue was presented beautifully and organised in such a way that made everything flow seamlessly throughout. We would definitely recommend it as a venue to anyone looking for an intimate venue with stunning grounds and scenery.

  Our Wedding at Sulgrave Manor 2014

  We were married here on the 9th August 2014 and it truly was the most memorable and cherished day that we could have wished for.
  
  As soon as we visited Sulgrave Manor we knew where we were going to be married, it is a stunning venue with beautiful historic house and gardens that are well maintained through the year lending itself to both large and intimate weddings with something for everyone.
  
  We had exclusive use of the Manor from the start of the ceremony in the Great Hall, during which over 22 of our younger guests played outdoor games in the secluded gardens. In fact this is where many stayed throughout the day with August sunshine and then candles into the evening. As we were undertaking a large amount of the preparation ourselves we were lucky enough to have the Courtyard hall and marquee from the day before relieving the pressure considerably.
  
  We utilised some of the companies that are recommended and introduced some of our own – all were accommodating and provided a fantastic service throughout. Julie, Sue and the team were outstanding throughout nothing too large or small to ask of them and always there to ensure the planning and day went effortlessly.
  
  We have heard nothing but the highest praise from all of our guests and would whole heartedly recommend the venue without reservation.
  Sulgrave Manor provides a bespoke service with a “can do” approach making a magical day for all!

  A small but perfect reception

  Although we had less than thirty guests at our party, the staff at Sulgrave Manor nevertheless took a lot of trouble with all the details of our reception, and helped us have a simple, yet perfect, country wedding. Thank you to you all!
