If anyone is looking around for a perfect dining experience around Royston, Meldreth or a nearby location, this is the place to explore. 5-star hospitality, nice ambience and a well-maintained property. This place is a perfect blend of UK & Indian cuisine. Really surprised to see a 400-year-old property maintained with elegance and a touch of perfectness. -

This venue is aesthetically gorgeous but also incredibly versatile whatever your size of wedding. We got married in the local church and had our reception here with 47 guests - this fitted the main dining room comfortably but if you had more or fewer, there are lots of options. We had a great evening party with live music and, again, there were plenty of options for older guests who weren't too bothered about music or dancing to comfortably sit and chat.
Most of all, we worked with a great team at Sheene Mill whose number one skill was listening - naturally, we wanted a nice and relaxed event and our style is very much 'less is more' - Kelly and team got that and worked with it - their attention to detail and care on the day was impeccable - we felt really looked after and special but also that the day was a reflection of us and the event we wanted. Equally, if you wanted all the bells and whistles I know the team would facilitate that too.
Oh, we also used the 10 bedrooms for 2 nights which was fab and ensured a comfortable weekend for our family who had travelled some distance to be with us.
We had an incredible day and we cannot thank Sheene and the team enough for everything they did to help make that happen. They are special people and we will be back for coffee or to dine I'm sure :) -

Stunning location but that's all it had going for itself. The management are appalling. Food was terrible, the wedding was not set up as requested, staff all over the place. Charged me incorrectly multiple times. Asked the bride for unowed money infront of guests during breakfast, didn't serve all the wine that was purchased. Complaints were handled terribly. Never experienced such terrible service in my entire lifeSheene Mill's reply:

Stunning venue!
We were truly delighted to have chosen Sheene Mill to host our wedding and could not have been happier with our decision.
We viewed this gorgeous venue before any others and instantly booked, knowing it was where we would be holding our special day. With its cosy, intimate rooms, pavilion overlooking the pond and its beautiful surroundings, Sheene Mill made for a stunning location and the perfect setting for our wedding.
On the day, the team at Sheene Mill ensured all our needs were met and that the whole day went as perfectly as we had dreamed. The food and hospitality could not be faulted. A special mention goes to the wedding coordinator, Ellie, and manager, Aushin, who both went above and beyond to ensure we had a truly memorable day and that our guests were well taken care of.
We recently returned for a visit to reminisce and soak up the surroundings whilst enjoying an afternoon tea and then dinner in the evening, both of which we would highly recommend.
If you are looking to have your wedding in a stunning, tranquil and picturesque location, Sheene Mill ticks all the right boxes. -

Sheene Mill was our wedding venue, and they were perfect for us!
We were only having a very intimate and small wedding, but they still treated it with the attention and importance that they would a 100 person wedding. We were never left wanting for anything and it all ran so smoothly. The venue and our room were wonderful and fit the vibe of the wedding perfectly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, all of our guests loved it. Every member of staff was caring and devoted to creating a perfect day for us. We could not be more thankful to everyone for all of their efforts! 💜🧡

This place is amazing, they were very through at the pre booking stage and been very helpful all the way through the planning. Nothing was ever to much trouble.
On the day everything. Went very smoothly and the day seemed to flow with ease. Everyone mention how lovely and what what a fantastic setting it was.
Lovely tasting food and lots of lovely rooms to stay in.
