  The best day of our lives in a unique venue in London

  As we live locally to the venue, we knew about it from the moment we got engaged. After enquiring, Yash and his team arranged a visit for us to look around the island. We were sold! From the time of booking, the team were nothing but professional, easy to communicate with, and made every effort to accommodate our wishes and vision.
  
  We had an excellent menu tasting with Chef Ram at their sister site (Warren House Hotel), and we were impressed with the food quality and his attention to detail. He was able to easily accommodate all our guests dietary requirements without any issue.
  
  We got married at a local church, but did our confetti line on arrival at the island with all our guests (after a little boat ride around the island, waving to all our guests), which was truly unique.
  
  Raj and his team on the day were fantastic. The marquee was set up beautifully, as was the lawn. The little touches like the table plan and flowers outside were put out exactly as I had specified, on the morning. The day ran to time thanks to Raj, but he ensured me and my new husband were served our canapes and drinks, as well as evening pizza, even whilst we were going around greeting our guests (otherwise we would have missed them).
  
  The PA system worked a treat during the speeches and meal background music, and the team helped our band set up whilst we were eating our wedding breakfast in the same room, without any disturbance to us or our guests.
  
  The wedding breakfast was amazing, especially the white chocolate cheesecake!
  
  The venue on its own is spectacular and truly unique, but the team that come with it make your wedding smooth sailing (no pun intended) and hassle free!
  
  We would thoroughly recommend having your wedding here!

  Perfect Wedding day

  The team were very helpful, always doing their best to cater for our requirements. The venue is very special for a wedding or other celebration, it's unique to arrive by boat. Everything we requested was supplied, the (Indian) food was excellent and plentiful. Would happily recommend the venue.

  We booked our wedding here for July 2023. The venue cancelled on us 3 weeks before our wedding date, with many guests due to travel internationally and from across the UK, having planned their flights and hotels for this location. The venue had actually been closed for months beforehand and they had been lying to us about the reason meetings suddenly had to be held elsewhere. They did not have correct fire safety standards in place. Imagine if a fire had broken out at a wedding on an island, with children, elderly and infirm guests and a single ferry to evacute... Thank god for the fire brigade!
  
  The service had already been very penny-pinching, we had been told for example that I would have a space to get ready on the island - as I was supposed to arrive before all the guests. This turned into an offer for a space with no running water or bathroom available IF it was renovated in time. Alternatively we were allowed to rent a room in the general building for an additional £100 and bring our own screen. Lots of odd and vague communication and very strict limitations on when we could set up, take down, what we could bring, eg we were told guests with babies could bring baby food but ones with small toddlers could not. And this is before our booking fell through at the last minute.
  
  We were offered a last minute alternative venue that was quite bluntly, a joke. Hideous decor, scaffolding on the outside, no thought had gone into where the cocktail hour could be held. A ceremony room that wouldn't hold all our guests. Guests would all have to be inside by an early hour, because of the neighbours.
  
  Thankfully, we found an incredible venue in Hampton Court golf club - we had the most amazing day and will remember it forever. We felt saved by them and the local fire brigade!
  
  Please see the venue's Google reviews - this happened to multiple couples, some of whom were not as lucky as us in finding an alternative venue.

  We would like to render our sincere appreciation and gratitude to you guys for all your great help over the last couple of months.
  
  Also a huge thanks goes to the boys who always helped us load,unload and ferried us across to the island. we couldn't have asked for a better place to be married.
  
  Our guest deeply enjoyed the experienced and were amazed there is such a place in London.
  
  Richard - you are a star, thank you so much for keeping a cool head and calm persona with such positive outlook. you always looked for a solution to problems.

  A Really Good Day

  Thank you so much, it was a really good day, can't believe it is over already.
  Lucy and Richard did a great job setting it all up for us, they had set up inside as it was drizzly but seamlessly moved it outside for us when we asked!
  Even when we were running behind schedule they remained calm, polite and didn't rush us along helping us to really enjoy every minute of our day!

  Thank you so much for everything you both and Richard did on Saturday- everyone had an amazing time and loved the venue. We've had people calling to say that they had so much fun and that it was one of the nicest venues they have been to as to specifically pass on their gratitude to you.
