Wedding of our dreams 🤍

Where do we begin?
After viewing what can only be described as an obscene number of venues, from our first viewing at Prestwold Hall we knew it was the one! Emma showed us round the incredible grounds and Hall, highlighting every beautiful historical feature, but also all the gentle modern touches that have been incorporated so elegantly to this venue. SHE SOLD IT 🤩 we booked within 24hours!

Things only got better from there! Just in time for Christmas we got an invite to our tasting evening the following January, a great addition to any wedding experience… if you get the invitation, take it! Everyone was incredible, so welcoming and kind, the evening really allowed us to experience what it would be like to be taken care of by this amazing team. The food sampling was amazing and I think it’s fair to say we left a little squiffy! 😅

It was then that Lucy was assigned to us as our wedding planner/coordinator/shot bearer. She absolutely nailed the whole thing, every single query answered, all nerves put to rest, drinks constantly provided! Lucy helped us through every step of the way, whether it was regarding the venue itself or regarding other vendors. Even when we totally messed up the meal choices, Lucy was there to provide assistance.

The whole experience at Prestwold Hall, with the incredible team there was pure magic! The bridal party rocked up at 8am to get the party started and it didn’t stop. Anything we asked for, it was provided…an extra table for the makeup artists, glasses of Pimm’s for the bridesmaids, the morning was pure bliss! Being allowed to also jam out on the piano at 9am whilst vendors set up also really helped the nerves settle. 🤩 The whole day went so smoothly, everything in order and handled with the most calm manner. The food was FABULOUS, the drinks Gorgeous, the venue picture perfect! All anybody could talk about was how amazing the day was and it wouldn’t be without the team at Prestwold. Everything was catered to, even all our DIY props and decor (personal favourite being the crossword). The gardens looked absolutely immaculate, the flowers are to die for! 🌹 🌺 I also cannot say how well watered we were, after nearly every single photo, Lucy and her team were there to hand out drinks to the wedding party. We even managed to have a few cheeky shots too!

We just hope all the team at Prestwold enjoyed our day as much as we did!

The most amazing day!

We had our Indian wedding at Prestwold Hall and it was everything we hoped for and more. The venue itself is absolutely stunning – full of character, charm, and beautiful grounds – but what really made it special was Rosie and the incredible team behind the scenes.
From the moment we first visited, Rosie made us feel completely at ease. She understood our vision straight away and helped us bring our Indian wedding to life in a way that felt both personal and seamless. Nothing was too much trouble, and every detail was handled with such care.
On the day itself, the team were calm, organised, and so thoughtful – not just with us, but with our families too. It honestly felt like they were part of the celebration. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly the day ran.
We’re so grateful to have chosen Prestwold Hall for such a special moment in our lives – thank you Rosie and team for being such a huge part of it.

August Wedding 2024

Absolutely incredible - the best day of our lives

Wow Prestwold! Where do we start with your exceptional hosting skills and team. So many of our guests (including guests from Australia) commented on how seamless our day was and how professional the Prestwold team were. Many were curious on how we found the venue and we feel so privileged to have had your team on board on the best day of our lives yet.

The venue is spectacular with beautiful interiors including an old library, dining room and the gardens. In Spring and Summer, in particular, the gardens look absolutely stunning. The bedrooms were spacious and in a clean and tidy condition with an element of luxury to every room.

From the outset, you were accommodating for all of our preferences and worked with us in respect of suppliers, food/drink choices and on the day set up. Nothing was too much trouble with our wedding coordinator, Aimee, being always willing to try and accommodate additional requests outside of their already comprehensive options and choices. For example, we chose to offer a DIY sweet stand and Prestwold set this up for us on the day, placing it in an ideal location at the venue. On the day, Aimee was exceptional at coordinating all of the styling and ensuring the day ran smoothly. We didn’t have to think about a thing and were able to be fully present on the day - that is a gift we can never repay you for! The food was exquisite with nearly all of our guests commenting on it. Moreover, Prestwold thought of everything down to providing a bottle of champagne for the end of the night, which we enjoyed whilst reading our guestbook.

If you are looking for a high quality venue and wedding planning team, look no further as Prestwold are a safe pair of hands and create dream weddings. Many of our guests said the wedding was the best they had ever been to and Prestwold’s are a massive of part of what was an incredible day!

The best day❤️

We and all of our guests LOVED our day. The help from Aimee and Emma throughout the planning process and our many visits was so appreciated. The entire day ran smoothly and the staff were so attentive
Food and drinks were delicious and there was rarely a backup at the bar
There’s absolutely nothing I would change about our day. Thank you Prestwold for being so brilliant!

Outstanding venue with caring staff

Amazing venue and amazing service! The staff ( especially Lucy) helped our day to be truly special. We wish we could do our wedding all over again.

Amazing Wedding Day

The venue is just beautiful, every part of it is so special, so many options and so much space to make your perfect event special.
The people behind the magic! They’re all amazing throughout the whole booking process & wedding day the whole Prestwold team were just fantastic we couldn’t have wished for anything more!
In particular Lucy, EJ & Rheanna were so attentive and my saviours on the day and leading up to the wedding!
Food... WOW! Every single item that comes out that kitchen tastes and looks just wow!

We cannot thank the Prestwold team enough and also cannot wait to book another event here! It’s just magical! ❤️

Things could not have gone more smoothly

The Prestwold team went above and beyond prior, during & post reception to ensure that our time there was special. One of the best things for us was the
relaxed nature of the staff, I think that we were behind schedule throughout the day but they managed to work around us and things couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The food is high end restaurant quality! We have had positive feedback from our guests many of which have said “it’s the best wedding they have been to” and for us it definitely was!

The atmosphere of our day was amazing

My husband and I attended a wedding at Prestwold Hall in June 2018. We both came away from the wedding saying that it was the best wedding either of us have been to. This was due the guest experience we had at Prestwold Hall - the venue was stunning, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing and the band sounded awesome in the library. When we got engaged, there was nowhere else that was going to be as good as Prestwold Hall so it was decided that we had to have our wedding there too.

So many comments about the food being amazing

We found all the staff so helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble in the planning stage and on the day. At our planning meeting we were made to feel much more relaxed and clear as the team assured us we still had plenty of time and went through all the details. We've had so many comments
about the food being amazing. Our day ran so smoothly and we had lots of compliments on a beautiful wedding and we really believe we owe a lot of that to the beautiful venue and the staff's expertise.
