  Amazing Venue and Service

  Myself and my then fiancé got married here in November 2013. We had an amazing time. The day went without a hitch, we held both our wedding ceremony and evening reception here. The service was second to none. The food was lovely and plentiful and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend Maylands to anyone wanting a lovely venue which is very reasonably priced venue. A big thank you to Tessa and all the staff at Maylands.

  The best day ever .....Beautiful!

  Me and my husband really can not thank all the staff at maylands golf club enough for the wonderful wedding day they held for us. From the beginning Tessa was great support and couldn't do enough for us from ideas, advice and solving any problems we had with outside companies. On the day Tessa was amazing kept us informed and the day running smoothly. When Simon took over he was fantastic couldn't do enough for us and our guests! The wedding breakfast was amazing thank you very much to the kitchen staff every one was very full after your beautiful meals! The bar staff you were amazing with coping with our very merry family members and clearing up at the end! The staff are so polite and helpful! The grounds are beautiful and so is inside.
  
  We really can't thank you all enough for the perfect wedding. We really couldn't ask for anything more!

  Both myself and my husband would like to send a massive thank you to Maylands for making our wedding day so perfect, we did not need to worry about a thing the whole day thanks to Tessa and her team ran smoothly, it really was everything and more.

  Beautiful Day

  We could not have had a more perfect reception. The staff were warm and friendly and the food was fantastic. I could not change a thing to improve it. We met only two or three times to discuss our day so I was a little wary being so hands-off. When we arrived everything was exactly as we had planned and hoped. Beautiful day. Thank you Tees a and Claire. Not forgetting Sue from Creative Balloon who did a wonderful job with our decorations.

  My wedding!

  Myself and my fiancée got married at Maylands Golf Course on the 17th November, and whilst the venue itself has had some bad press previously regarding organisation and food, I can’t compliment the venue enough for making our day as perfect as it was. Initially we had some reservations on the food a) due to the press and b) due to the previous chef as we had a somewhat underwhelming taster meal. However, with the introduction of the new chef at Maylands, I can confirm, along with every single one of our 93 guests, that the food was amazing! With a view on to the scenic golf course, and photo opportunities on the bridge across a lake, this is an ideal venue for anyone looking to get married. With the beams across the ceiling of the main room for the wedding breakfast, and fairy lights to add a slight magical touch, the venue itself is classy without being as in your face as some over the top and somewhat pricier venues. Regarding the pricing, Maylands is exceptional value for money, which also helps to ensure that you’re not paying your wedding off for the rest of your life!!! And with Tessa Chesney as the wedding organiser, everything ran smoothly, and nothing was too much trouble. So to sum up, whatever you’ve read about Maylands in the past, ignore it!!! Those dark days are gone, and in a credit crunched world, this is THE wedding venue to have the best day of your life!!

  We had our wedding at Maylands in October 2013.
  Best way to describe the venue the staff and food is - Perfect !

  We just wanted to thank you and the team for all your hard work and for making our day run so smoothly. You personally were so attentive and made sure all the finer details were in place. The venue lent itself to being the most stunning location and looked beautiful with the twinkling fairy lights and candles. The whole atmosphere was so relaxed and both Geoff and I were amazed at how stunning it looked. All of our guest have complimented the venue, food and the staff. Our meal was delicious and you catered for every fussy person that attended with out complaint. The evening barbeque was wonderful and not one person went hungry. As the bride I had confidence the whole time that our wedding was in good hands and nothing was to much for you, you accommodated our every request. We can not explain how grateful we are to you and all the staff for making our day so magical and memorable.
