Perfect summer wedding ✨️

Stunning location, affordable wedding package and last but definitely not least, delicious food!

We communicated with Mark over email and then we met Andrew and they were both great throughout the all process.
From answering promptly to our emails, to showing us around when we first visited, to making us feel like VIPs during our wedding menu tasting and finally to executing perfectly every aspect of our big day last week!

Our guests were so happy with the wedding meal and lots of our London friends thanked us for introducing them to such a wonderful restaurant to which they will return in the future.
The team was very attentive with regards to some of our guests with serious allergies.

Le Gothique waiting teamwere so lovely, professional yet friendly and kept a smile on their faces throughout an undoubtedly long day. Many of our guests commented on how great the customer service was during the all day.

We must not forget the chefs and kitchen team for preparing such a delicious meal, we choose Tuna tartare&goat cheese salad as starters, gnocchi&confit de canard as mains, raspberry tart&sorbets as desserts. We cannot really recommend a specific dish as they were all great!

This venue facilitates bigots

I’m a local resident and have always liked the idea of supporting independent venues. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Le Gothique to couples planning their wedding.

The same hall you would be getting married in has also been used by Reform UK (hosted twice), including giving a platform to speakers such as David Starkey (a public figure whose comments are widely reported). Starkey has publicly said: “Slavery was not genocide – otherwise there wouldn’t be so many damn blacks in Africa or in Britain, would there?”

It’s extremely disappointing that a wedding venue (one that relies heavily on its reputation and local support) is comfortable hosting an organisation associated with views like this. It raises serious concerns about the atmosphere, values, and safety of the space.

Couples spending thousands on their day deserve full transparency about the types of events a venue is willing to host. I would encourage anyone considering Le Gothique to keep this in mind when making their decision.

The perfect day

Thank you to Andrew & Mark. Our day was perfect. All the guests loved the venue and had a great time. Really pleased that we found this little gem! The food was great, all the staff in the day were lovely. I couldn’t recommend this place enough 🤍

Brilliant place to get married

Couldn’t be happier with our choice to get married here last month. Attentive staff, truly memorable food delivered so smoothly and a gorgeous courtyard ceremony were just some of the highlights. The team helped with any queries (nervous bride alert!) and we even had a lovely food tasting to choose our dishes which was a treat. It’s a really unique and special venue which all our guests commented on and I’d definitely opt for it again.

Le Gothique - what a team

I cannot praise Le Gothique enough for their work on our wedding. The weather was not playing ball but the team never faltered in their replanning to make sure everyone stayed dry.

The staff were absolutely amazing on the day. I got tracked down by a waiter who'd been told specifically to make sure the bride and groom ate and that's honestly genius because I would have forgotten otherwise.

Everything was set up perfectly and the staff we're super helpful in pointing out places for good photos in the building.

They dealt with our rowdy dancing and crowd surfing with good humour and grace.

I can definitely recommend Le Gothique as a wedding reception venue. 0 complaints from us.

A winter wonderland wedding

Our winter wonderland white wedding day was everything and more than we expected. Catering for 125 was always a big ask. And all the "awkward" guests were carefully attended to by Andrew and Jake who found the gluten free, vegan and special needs guests and made then feel special. Mark ran the show with the experience of a man who has done 1500 weddings.
The charm offensive was never relentling with big smiles all day from all the staff.
Wedding food can be a compromise but I can honestly say this was one of the best meals of our lives. How do they do it in the small kitchen?
I would recommend this "castle" on Wandsworth Common to anyone looking for something special, something different, something excellent in every way

A lovely day

Belated congratulations for making our wedding June 30th 2018 such a lovely day.
Everyone enjoyed the flavours from our very unusual Asian/Eurpoean menu. Mark and his chefs went out of their way to assist us with the menu planning. We could see that a lot of hard work went into this.
Elliot was brilliant. So too was the owner Mark's son, Andrew, who was consatantly on hand to help.
This wedding was never going to be a run of the mill occasion. The menu was very important to us and Fred in the kitchen really delivered

Great Venue, Great Service, Great Price

Le Gothique hosted our wedding day celebrations. Beautiful surroundings, very picturesque, ideal venue for a romantic wedding. Food served at the reception was lovely. Both food and drinks reasonably priced. Staff very pleasant. Had a lovely day, the outdoor alfresco setting is unique.
Added bonus the weather was fabulous too!

Amazing Venue

I recently had my wedding at Le Gothique and it was absolutely perfect! The garden is beautiful, the food utterly delicious and the whole day ran so smoothly.
I would like to thank Mark, Elliot and the team for their help in planning the day, tailoring everything to our requests and making everything run like clockwork.
I could not recommend Le Gothique more, both as a restaurant and a wedding venue. We look forward to many more meals there!

Wedding reception sent from Heaven

On September 8th, 2018, we had our much anticipated wedding reception at Le Gothique. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly and effortlessly. The food was absolutely delicious and served with excellent precision and timing.The atmosphere was fantastic and the tables were set beautifully. Even the weather held up!
We could not fault a single thing, as Mark, the proprietor, took great care of us. He definitely knows his stuff when it comes to organising weddings and I would highly recommend him and his fantastic team.
It was a wedding day to remember, and this is due to all the planning, input and gems of advice from Le Gothique.
Thank you for all that you did for us, and for giving us a wedding reception sent from heaven!
