We knew from the moment we set eyes on Launcells Barton that we had finally found the place we were going to get married! We feel so lucky to have stumbled across it on our annual trip to Cornwall last year because we can't imagine having a better experience.
Everything about Launcells Barton is spectacular! We were so happy to have found a venue that had accommodation on site and multiple spaces to use throughout the day and the cherry on top ...the absolutely stunning grounds!
Lara and the Launcells team are so warm, helpful and organised. They made the whole planning process so easy and stress free. We had so many comments throughout the day from our guests saying how beautiful the venue was, how lovely all of the staff were and how smoothly our day ran.
We had the best day of our lives and couldn't recommend Launcells Barton more. -

Highly Recommend!
Launcells Barton was the first venue we viewed where we both knew instantly it was the right one for us. From the first visit to the wedding day itself, the team at Launcells were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and they made sure the day ran smoothly and there was no stress! Chrissie in particular was amazing - if there was any “problem” she had the solution and she made us feel so special on the day. The grounds and buildings are also so lovely and provide an amazing canvas for you to make your own.
When it comes to choosing wedding venues, we would choose Launcells every time. -

We can’t even put into words how truly amazing Launcells Barton is as a venue to have the wedding of your dreams. Lara and Chrissie have been amazing from the very first day we went to view it. They made our wedding day worry free, with on the day coordination, knowing every detail. We have had so many comments from guests saying how beautiful the whole venue is and how helpful and friendly the staff were. Despite Storm Amy, we had the most amazing day, as there are great inside and outside options throughout the venue.
We wish we could do it all again next year and continue to work with you guys. Every couple who gets married at Launcells Barton is so lucky! We have memories to treasure for a life time!

Launcells was the first venue we visited and immediately fell in love. The venue itself is stunning, with such an amazing range of spaces to celebrate in. However, it is the team who work there who really went above and beyond to help and support us, both before the day and during the event (even afterwards when we accidentally left something there!). Lara and Chrissie are fabulous, making sure everything is on track and sorting any issues before they become a problem. We were initially planning to get married outside but unfortunately the weather had other plans meaning our drinks reception also had to be held inside. However the team worked so fast to turn the space around, keeping guests happy and you wouldn't have known it was supposed to be any different. We would very highly recommend them!!Launcells Barton's reply:

It’s difficult to truly put into words how truly spectacular Launcells Barton is. It was the first and last wedding venue we viewed, because in just a few minutes we had fallen head over heels.
The staff were so welcoming, attentive and genuinely caring across the entire process. Planning a wedding from 200miles away can be tricky at times, but the Handy Info Guide and virtual meetings helped us find amazing suppliers and answer any questions we had.
Exclusive use of the venue provided us not only with the perfect ambiance and back drop for our special day, but a relaxing space to enjoy pre and post wedding celebrations with our nearest and dearest.
Our guests were so complimentary of the venue and its staff, and were especially excited to see us off on sunset tractor ride! It made their long journeys (half of them as far as Australia) so worth it.
We’d like to give special thanks to Chrissie, who helped co-ordinate our day. A calming presence who radiated sunshine, Chrissie fitted into our day so wonderfully. She showed such genuine care and excitement for us across our celebrations, and gave us expert guidance when it was needed.
We would choose Launcells Barton and its team in every lifetime. We wish them the very best for their bright future.

The Ultimate South West Venue
Where do I start with thanking the Launcells Team. What a positive experience we had from start to finish - from the initial emailing to arrange a visit, everyone was so kind, so professional, and very responsive. They were very accommodating with the questions we had, but their Handy Info Guide out most of our queries to rest. They really have thought of everything! The venue is just stunning; it’s so well kept and maintained by the fabulous team there, that come rain or shine, it would have been beautiful. No decor is needed with a place like this! The day itself went so smoothly, special thanks going to the wonderful Chrissie who was there for us every minute of the day with polos and her fan! All of this amounted to us having the best day of our lives. Launcells played the most enormous part in this and no words will be enough to encourage others to book with them. I got to marry the man I love, in a place that I love, and there’s not much that could beat that.Launcells Barton's reply:

Best day ever!
Launcells Barton was the first venue we visited when we were looking and after seeing it we knew we didn’t need to look anywhere else.
An absolutely stunning venue in a tucked out of the way location. The staff were fantastic, offering sometimes needed guidance and always available to answer any questions in relation to the big day. The big day ran seamlessly and this was thanks to Chrissie and Lara who were always on hand and even offering out polos to calm our nerves. We can’t thank everyone enough for giving us the most perfect day and memories to last a lifetime!Launcells Barton's reply:

Beautiful venue and brilliant team, thank you Lancells Barton!
Lara and the team at Launcells are fantastic - right through from the initial meeting to the big day. Communication was great throughout and helped us through what is quite a daunting process!
Our wedding day was everything we imagined and more and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of the team. Lara was on hand to help support along with the rest of the Launcells team who helped to make it truly special for us.
We were so lucky with the weather and so got to fulfil our vision of getting married in the beautiful Rose Garden followed by Pimms and Prosecco under the trees, and the beautiful backdrop of the grounds for our photos.
One of our favourite moments of the day was the sunset tractor ride, it was so special to watch the sunset over the sea and take a moment just the two of us.
We'd highly recommend Launcells to anyone getting married! -

We could not have asked for anything more from the team at Launcells Barton, our wedding day was honestly perfect in every way. The planning build up was make effortless by Matthew, Lara and Ellie and the staff on the day were extremely accommodating and professional throughout. If we could do it all again we would choose Launcells Barton every time. Our guest to this day still comment on how it was the perfect venue for its character and picturesque setting. We knew from the moment we arrived at Launcells Barton that it was the perfect venue for us. We had only been engaged for 24 hours and we were completely clueless about where to start!
Lara was incredibly warm and welcoming and gave us a thorough tour showing us everything that the venue had to offer. The venue includes accommodation for up 12 people in a stunning 17thC Manor House which we felt was a fantastic part of the package.
Throughout the planning process Layla and Ellie were on hand to answer any queries we had and they were able to provide fantastic insights into the ‘do’s’ and ‘dont’s’ which helped us to plan the perfect day. The Trello board was really useful as a forum to collate information and ask any queries in the final stages of the planning process.
When we arrived at the venue to set up for the big day Ellie was welcoming and helpful and helped make the process as stress-free as possible. We loved having exclusive use of the site which enabled us to enjoy the evening before and morning after with our closest family and friends.
The day itself was magical and the venue was absolutely stunning. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue and the surrounding area. Ellie was fantastic on the day and ensured everything ran smoothly so that we could enjoy ourselves after 18 months of planning! Our guests also commented on how attentive the bar staff were and they were very friendly and chatty with our guests.
We would recommend Launcells Barton to everyone as it really was the most perfect venue.
