An incredible venue, an incredible team and one incredible day!

We knew from the moment we set eyes on Launcells Barton that we had finally found the place we were going to get married! We feel so lucky to have stumbled across it on our annual trip to Cornwall last year because we can't imagine having a better experience.

Everything about Launcells Barton is spectacular! We were so happy to have found a venue that had accommodation on site and multiple spaces to use throughout the day and the cherry on top ...the absolutely stunning grounds!

Lara and the Launcells team are so warm, helpful and organised. They made the whole planning process so easy and stress free. We had so many comments throughout the day from our guests saying how beautiful the venue was, how lovely all of the staff were and how smoothly our day ran.

We had the best day of our lives and couldn't recommend Launcells Barton more.

Amazing wedding venue

Our wedding day truly was one of the best days of our lives. Layla and the Launcells team were absolutely fantastic on the day, everything went to plan, and we were able to completely relax and enjoy the day. Layla was fantastic in the lead up to the big day too, giving us every confidence that the day would run smoothly. All of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was. The accommodation is also a fantastic addition to the venue, we loved having everything in one place. We can’t thank the Launcells team enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

Absolute perfection

We had an incredible day and Launcell's Barton and their staff played a huge part in that.
The venue itself is stunning, The reception barn, ceremony barn and the snug bar are all pointing out to a main courtyard so it keeps everything centred and compact but with plenty of space.
Layla is an absolute credit to Launcell's Barton. From start to finish she was amazing. Always a reassuring and calm head. She tells you not to worry about anything and let her and her staff take care of the running of the day and the flow and that is exactly what she did. Whenever we needed something or were unsure of anything Layla was on hand to help. If I was thinking of a potential issue or unsure of something, I'd find Layla was already on it. It really did exactly as she told us and meant we did not have to worry, stress or fuss over anything at all. She is an absolute superstar.
We really could not have asked for a better day or venue, so many smiles, so many laugh's and wonderful memories and we want to thank everybody involved, particularly to all of the staff for helping us make it so.

The perfect venue

From the moment we drove through the gates, we knew Launcells Barton would be the perfect venue for our wedding.

Lara and the team are incredibly helpful and really know their stuff! In the lead up to the wedding we had a couple of supplier hiccups, but Lara was always on hand to offer reassurance and advice.

Layla was our coordinator for our wedding day and was constantly two steps ahead - we really didn’t have to worry about a thing! Nothing was too much trouble and she had everything under control.

The house and grounds are beautiful and gave our guests plenty of space to explore and enjoy the day. We had so many comments on what a fabulous venue it is and the kids loved having so much space to run around (and throw glow sticks!)

We genuinely had the most perfect day. Thank you Launcells Barton!

Incredible!

Myself and my husband got married in September 2023 at this gorgeous venue (the first and only venue we viewed should I add, it just felt right!)

Co ordinator Layla, was just incredible all the way up to the special day as-well as on the day. So professional, yet warm and friendly with no questions being too big or small.

On the day, Joe and I felt so stress free, everything was taken care of and we could fully relax and enjoy our day with our nearest and dearest without worrying about a thing! This, of course, was all down to Layla and the team - We honestly, hand on heart, couldn’t of wished for a better people to guide us through all the preparations up to the special day AND make our day go as smoothly as it did.

Launcells really is a special place that will always have a place in our hearts. The house and grounds are packed with character, beauty and history. We felt incredibly lucky to be able to get married and spend the weekend here, we will treasure our memories/photos and videos for life.

Thanks guys for the best day of our lives.

Practically perfect in every way!

We hired this venue for our daughter and son in laws wedding on 16th September. The venue, the staff, the house and setting were all equally perfect and everything was so professionally run we had nothing to worry about at all. I cannot recommend Launcells Barton and staff enough, thank you we had the best day and so did all the guests.

Everything was just perfect

Where can I start... Lara, Layla and the team are just superb! From the moment we drove up the driveway to the main house and met with Lara to walk around the property we were hook, line and sinker. No matter what time of year, the grounds of the property are beautiful. The mill barn is cosy and creates the atmosphere for a intimate ceremony, and the reception barn is the perfect size for dining and then partying! We were a fortunate couple who got married on one of the hottest days in September, and the house stayed surprisingly cool for getting ready! Lara kept the timing of the day all to plan and the day went on without a hitch! We honestly could not have asked for a better team! The BIGGEST shout-out to the bar staff who worked the day and night of the wedding. Our Australian (and English) family know how to drink and they definitely worked making all the drinks!
If you are thinking about this venue... Don't give it a second thought!!!

Best venue for the best day of our lives!

We could not recommend Launcells Barton more. From start to finish, it was simply the best venue we could have asked for. Not only is the venue itself absolutely stunning and perfectly laid out for any wedding celebrations (come rain or shine!), but Lara and the LB team provide an impeccable service in helping you to co-ordinate and organise the big day. They are highly experienced in organising weddings and were really able to guide us in delivering our vision (from recommending excellent and local suppliers, to politely pointing out that our initial timings were never going to work!). With their help, we managed to fit everything (and everybody (!) - we were a very big wedding) into our celebrations and I think every guest commented on how wonderful the venue was. Plus the staff serving and attending the bar on the day were super friendly and professional. We honestly couldn't be happier that we chose LB for our wedding.

Launcells are a joy to work with

From the moment we drove through the gates at Launcells we knew it was the perfect space for us. The mill barn was a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and the reception barn the perfect blank canvas to bring all our ideas to life.

The team at Launcells are exceptional, and the planning process was seamless with the use of online planning boards so you can add ideas, notes, plans etc in one space, so nothing gets lost in emails. All communication was swift and clear so we were never unsure of next steps, and the team went above and beyond to help us achieve our dream table layout, trialling multiple layouts for us when we were unable to visit the site in person.

They provided a number of suggested suppliers which made the wedding planning process so much easier. We went with pickle shack catering & cut the mustard band, both of whom were brilliant and we would recommend wholeheartedly.

For wine lovers, you might find the wine package a bit too restrictive and whilst they helped us source our ideal fizz for toasting, there was not as much flexibility in terms of choices/ bottle numbers for the table wine as the package is priced on a half bottle per person. We think they would benefit from adding a wine corkage option for those couples who would like to go down that route.

Overall we had a fantastic wedding and we loved every single part of it. Our thanks go to the whole Launcells team for their help every step of the way. They have helped make memories which we will cherish forever and that means the world to us!

Any couple that gets to work with Launcells are in very good hands!

Thank you for your feedback with regards to wine, just to explain why we don’t feel that corkage works for us or our couples. We did in the past offer corkage, but it caused so much stress for ourselves and our couples that we decided to manage everything ourselves, as orders placed by couples wouldn’t turn up in time for their wedding, or the wrong amount would arrive on-site or even in a couple of cases, guests would complain about the quality of the wine being offered to them. We try to offer a wide selection of wines that cater to all tastes and budgets and that are also available at trade quantities. While our packages are there to offer a basis, some couples do order more wine if they feel they need to based on their guests. We try to offer support based on our experiences of how much people will normally consume during a wedding to avoid wastage for our couples.

The most amazing day!

We fell in love with Launcells Barton as soon as we visited and knew straightaway that it was where we wanted to get married! The grounds and buildings are really beautiful and we loved the passion that Lara and Matt have for the farm and the venue. In the lead up to the wedding, Layla and Lara were super organised, answered all of our questions and gave great advice. We used several of their recommended suppliers, who were also excellent. On the wedding day, our wedding coordinator Layla was absolutely brilliant - she was so lovely, calm and organised, and made sure the day felt really relaxed and ran completely smoothly. We had the most amazing day, and would definitely recommend Launcells Barton!
