We held our wedding at Highcliffe Castle on 13.7.24 and it was, quite literally, the day of our dreams. There’s so much that went into making it the perfect day, and that, of course, does include a lot of suppliers who worked incredibly hard to bring our dream to life. A supplier that did SO much of the heavy lifting was our venue and the absolutely incredible team that work there.
I was shown around by Gracie when we first visited the venue. I looked at it and fell in love pretty much instantly. My husband and I are both Harry Potter obsessed and I’m a keen Disney girl; this venue encompassed all the magic you’d find in Disney World in Florida with the stunning British charm that made it the perfect venue for our Potter-themed wedding.
I told the team that I wanted our wedding to feel like us - traditional but with all the tiny details that made it undeniably ours. Let me tell you: they worked their absolute socks off from the moment we booked to the big day itself to do that for us.
The Wintergarden is absolutely stunning and a truly magical place to hold your ceremony. Even without any decor, it’s just beautiful. Add in decoration, lots of smiling/crying (with happy tears) guests and an owl flying the rings down the aisle and you’ve got the perfect ceremony.
The Great Hall is where we chose to hold our wedding breakfast because it literally looks like you’ve walked into Hogwarts. We also chose to make use of the castle’s candelabra package, which transformed the room and gave it such a romantic feel.
The entire team - especially Gracie - went above and beyond. We felt like they truly cared about our big day. We weren’t just another client. On the day itself, Gracie kept me calm, helped me get around in a (very) large dress, and seemed so happy for us even though she’s seen so many people get married.
Organisation was great from day one and I cannot fault them in any way at all.
Highcliffe Castle, our wedding was everything we could ever have dreamed of, and a lot of that is down to the stunning venue itself but also all of the incredible people who worked so hard to bring fantasy into reality. We genuinely cannot thank you all enough.
If you’re looking for a venue that exudes magic, has a team that will make all of your vision come true from the tiniest of details, and somewhere that has SO many photo opportunities (from all of the rooms to the grounds to the entrance to the forest-y bit to the beach) please take a look at Highcliffe Castle. I guarantee you’ll fall in love as soon as you see it. -

We were lucky enough to get married at Highcliffe Castle last month. On the day itself and in the run up Gracie and the team made sure everything ran flawlessly and we really appreciated their flexibility with us, especially as we don’t live locally. I could not recommend the venue and the team more.
It is such a beautiful place to get married, from the winter garden ceremony room to the stunning castle grounds for drinks reception and we loved being able to go down to the beach for sunset photos! We would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a venue that has it all!

My mum had always wanted me to get married at beautiful Highcliffe Castle, and we did. Fabulous venue, really efficient team who put us at ease and were available to answer any question, even when i dropped in unannounced. We honestly have had the best experience with Highcliffe Castle. From the very first time visited to look around, through to the booking and planning process and finally on to our special day - all of it was dealt with, with such professionalism and sincerity, and every volunteer and member of the wedding team took a personal interest in making sure our day was nothing other than perfect. Aaliyah, Grace, Michelle, Gabor and the team were outstanding and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Highcliffe Castle is an absolutely stunning setting both inside and out and we can assure you that you and your guests will experience a truly magical and memorable wedding. A dream come true
Where to start - from the moment we first looked round Highcliffe Castle the staff were to friendly, welcoming and wanted to support with ideas and dreams for our wedding day. We fell in love with the venue from the first time we went there and we knew it was the one to celebrate our special day. We got married at Highcliffe Castle in July 2023 and we had the most perfect day celebrating with all our loved ones. Aaliyah was so supportive and reassuring that no matter the weather the team at the venue had a plan to ensure the day ran smoothly. The staff could not have been anymore accommodating, they went above and beyond to ensure the day went perfectly. We got our fairytale wedding at this stunning venue. It was magical. Thank you so much to all of the team and suppliers who made our wedding perfect, it is a day we will fondly remember forever. -

A truly magical day!
We got married at Highcliffe Castle in September 2023 and our experience was excellent from the beginning.
We chose Highcliffe because of the unique combination of stately home with manicured lawns, woodland scenery and of course the beach and sea views, in addition to the rustic feel indoors of the exposed brickwork.
Throughout the 15 months of consulting with the Castle team we liaised with different team members who were all very organised and professional. It was very helpful to have all of the information and guides they provided, as well as the recommended suppliers list - we felt that alleviated a majority of the stress of picking vendors as we knew Highcliffe were happy with their previous service and quality and all their insurance etc was fine.
We particularly found it helpful that the team allowed us to come in and visit the venue on a morning the Castle was hosting a wedding later in the day. This really helped us visualise the space better and tweak things with our florists and caterers.
Despite us still being very chaotic still putting table boxes together in the corridor ahead of the rehearsal, the Castle team was very patient with us and happy to accommodate.
The rehearsal itself was really helpful but I would advise couples to be prepared to go through all the details and not assume the team are already fully briefed from prior meetings - they will want to hear all the instructions again from you so everyone is 100% clear.
On the day this absolutely paid off as it went so smoothly and it’s very clear how experienced the team are.
The bar staff were great and very attentive, making sure to check in on the bridal party regularly. We were asked in advance if we wanted them to stock the bar with anything in particular and that was a really nice touch to ensure we had our favourite drinks.
Having the “library” area as an extended cloakroom and area to get away from everything was also highly appreciated!
Thank you to the Highcliffe team, we would highly recommend and would definitely do it all over again! -

Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. Despite the weather everything went so well and the coordination before and on the day from Aaliyah was amazing. Everything ran like clockwork and all the team were extremely helpful. The castle itself looked stunning with all the decoration and we have many happy memories to cherish forever. Thank you! -
