The venue at Blackfriars for our wedding was an absolute dream come true. The space was beautiful, welcoming, and created the perfect atmosphere for our special day. Jo and the team were great, always professional from the start with the venue planning, always being available to talk to and even went the extra mile even putting the final details on our cake during the day. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and flowed seamlessly. The team worked tirelessly, rearranging the room for the evening and even packed away our things to pick up the next day. Always serving with a smile.
The staff were kind and incredibly helpful, making sure every detail was taken care of so we could relax and enjoy the celebration. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how lovely the venue was! We’re so grateful for the wonderful memories made here and highly recommend the venue.Gloucester Blackfriars Priory's reply:

From the moment we booked with you it was so easy, the staff were fantastic, Matt was outstanding, I was in constant contact with him leading upto the day and even beyond! Nothing was too much trouble and it ran smoothly thanks to your organisation and exceptional team and service 😊

We were completely delighted with our experience at Blackfriars. Matthew and the rest of the team could not have been more helpful, and made sure our whole day ran smoothly. They made several useful suggestions, were very easy to get in contact with whenever we had questions, and were transparent about the process, the costs and anything else we needed to know. -

We really couldn't have asked for a better day
We can’t thank Sue and the team at Blackfriars enough, we had the most amazing wedding day in September. The venue is so beautiful and we really couldn’t have asked for a better day. Everything in the run up and right throughout the day went so smoothly and Sue was always around to answer any questions. We had catering from Cater Cater who were also just as amazing! Thank you! -

Guests commented on how impressive it was
We got married at Blackfriars Priory on 28/10/2023. We can't thank Hebe and the Blackfriars team enough for all of their help and support, both on the day itself and in the months leading up to our big day. The day ran so smoothly, all the logistics were taken care of without us having to worry. We had a bagpiper in the morning and a Ceilidh in the evening which were so much fun, and again easily accommodated by the team.
The venue itself is stunning and lots of our guests commented on how impressive it was. Obviously as a large and very old building it can get chilly in the Autumn/Winter, so we did prep our guests to bring layers!
One perk for us was being able to set up the venue the day before. Seeing it take shape and not being rushed at all meant we could really enjoy the build up to the big day :)
