What can we say? Cowdray House was always our dream wedding venue from the day we got engaged. Zena, Sam and the team were incredibly attentive and helped us plan our special day with ease. They were accommodating to our ideas, budgets and visits to the house, and kept us well informed throughout the planning process. On the day, Sam was incredible from the moment we stepped into the house. If you’re looking for a classy, elegant and sophisticated venue for your wedding then Cowdray House is the best place for it. The only problem was leaving the venue the morning after - we could’ve stayed forever!!
We got married in the grand Buck Hall which was then quickly converted into banqueting dining for our wedding breakfast. We used Jacaranda as our caterers & This Floral Life for floristry - both were first class and would highly recommend. 10/10 experience all round. -

What can we say, wow! My (now) husband and I had the most incredible wedding weekend at Cowdray in November. The house and grounds are stunning, as well as the luxurious bedrooms - our families were thrilled with their rooms and we had a lot of fun while everyone was checking in! You get a truly bespoke experience with Cowdray - no request is too much and you can schedule the day exactly as you like, which meant that our wedding felt incredibly personalised to us. We really appreciated the team accommodating our indoor and outdoor scenarios (especially important for a November wedding) and the wedding traditions from my family’s culture. Most of all, we’re grateful for how smoothly everything went for the whole weekend - my husband and I didn’t have to think about a thing, we just enjoyed the experience and got to soak it all in while the Cowdray team coordinated all our suppliers. A huge thank you to Jules, Sophia, Jordan, Zena, Lucy and everyone else on the Cowdray team! -

Cowdray House exceeded all of our hopes, dreams and expectations, and they were high enough to start with. From the very first moment, it felt like somewhere truly special. I knew that Cowdray House was my preferred place to get married when I first visited around ten years ago, and that feeling never faded. When we later visited Cowdray House together with a view to booking it for our wedding day, we both instantly agreed that it was perfect and had absolutely everything we were looking for.
The exclusivity of the venue, the breathtaking setting and sense of privacy, the beautiful décor, ambience and layout, as well as the stunning bedrooms, swimming pool and bowling alley all combined to create something truly exceptional. Every space felt thoughtful, elegant and designed to make the experience unforgettable, both for us and for our guests. However, what truly elevated Cowdray House to another level was the service we received throughout the entire process. From the planning stages through to the day itself, the team went above and beyond in every possible way.
Sam and Neil in particular were outstanding and made sure every detail was taken care of, leaving us completely confident and able to enjoy every moment. On the day itself, the whole team were absolutely brilliant. We were made to feel so special from start to finish, and nothing we asked for ever felt too big or too small. Every element was executed flawlessly and with such care, warmth and professionalism.
We got married four weeks ago now and our guests are still talking about how incredible the day was. So many have commented on how magical the venue felt and how much Cowdray House contributed to the atmosphere and overall experience. It truly played such a huge part in making our wedding everything we had hoped for and more.
Thank you so much to everyone at Cowdray House for giving us a truly perfect, unforgettable day that we will cherish forever. -

I cannot explain how happy I am that we chose Cowdray House for our wedding venue. We did um and ah as it was right on the edge of our budget, but it was worth the stretch. It was a joy to be there, we were able to make a real weekend out of it which is a great option when weddings fly by so quickly. We were able to play a fun game of separate the bride and groom the day before across the various rooms in the house, which between the indoor heated pool, the bowling alley and the beautiful drawing rooms involved a number of successful rotations.
The Cowdray team were phenomenal. There was nothing too much trouble for them to help us with, be it: helping us move from room to room as we enjoyed the house, laying out the picnic food we'd brought for the day before beautifully (we'd originally assumed we'd just sort it in the kitchen ourselves), letting us use/move/decorate Cowdray's more obscure sculptures on the day, lining up wellies of different sizes for all our guests to go for a walk, or checking in with us / always being at hand nearby to answer any questions. A truly lovely bunch. We now need another excuse to go back here! -

It was a true honour and ultimate childhood dream-come-true to celebrate our wedding on 3rd May 2025 at the magnificent Cowdray House. What a breathtaking venue, inside and out.
The ergonomics and aesthetics of the house provide the most idyllic location for a wedding or special celebration.
The team at Cowdray are exceptional, personable and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure the planning and preparations, through to our special weekend ran seamlessly.
An enormous thank you to Hannah, Andrea, Ben, Rio, Sam and Neil for their flawless service and hospitality.
We quite simply had the best day of our lives and reflect with the fondest of memories of, what was, the most special day.

We had a wedding at Cowdray. I wasn't the main organiser (or funder!) so I can't speak to everything. But I did deal with them over a few matters and wanted to come here and say they were a pleasure to deal with; always relaxed about a request and happy to make it happen. Would recommend heartily. -

Our DREAM Wedding venue
I can’t say enough about Cowdray House. We got married at Christmas and had the most magical perfect wedding. From the 30ft Christmas tree in buck hall, the fires in the reception room to the bowling alley, and every room being so beautiful. Every single guest told us it was the best venue they had ever been to. The team, in particular Jordan was incredible from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble in the lead up, and they were seamless on the day. They took away any stress and were always on hand with anything we needed. I simply can’t explain how magical and special this venue and team are. -

We got married following 18 months of planning which was about the right time for me to process how amazing this venue and the staff are! Definitely could have shortened the planning time the staff were all super helpful responsive and professional. They were also compassionate as my then fiance had a serious health scare half way through and they could not have been more helpful. Our other suppliers really valued their co-ordination which made it super easy for us to enjoy our fabulous day. It is expensive but really good value for money. All of the team had a similar approach of being supportive etc with ideas but also taking a step back and allowing your vision to evolve and then executing it. The venue speaks for itself and we got married in the dining room which is smaller. Would give six stars if I could ! Thanks to Katie, Erin, Jordan, Rachael and Hannah for their front of house help and to the rest of the (large) team. -

What can we say?! This was the perfect place to get married, Katie and the team were wonderful and the upmost professionals. Katie went above and beyond to make the whole weekend incredible. Everyone on the team were lovely approachable and would help us with anything we needed.
The house itself was beautiful, the hospitality wonderful, the bedrooms very beyond stunning and everything lived up to and beyond expectations. We could not having been happier with how our wedding turned out. -
