We had our wedding ceremony at Burgh House in November 2025 and couldn't have wished for a better setting! It's so beautiful, no decor was required at all from us to make it look nice. The staff were really helpful in planning and super welcoming and friendly on the day, really putting us at ease. They answered all our questions promptly by email beforehand and made sure everything ran very, very smoothly on the day. We didn't have to think about a thing! Sophie and Frances who run events there are pros. We also think it's very reasonably priced for what you get since they let you rent it for just three hours for a ceremony rather than for a full day. Recommend it wholeheartedly! -

Sun Filled Winter Wedding
Frances was very responsive and lovely to work with. We made an oversight and booked the wrong room but as I arrived early and noticed Frances soon swapped everything over without guests or more importantly the bride ever knowing my mistake. The music room has such wonderful light and made our ceremony so much better when it was flooded with natural light. Such a beautiful place. -

We absolutely loved our wedding at Burgh House. It's a beautiful venue with an excellent layout for both the ceremony and reception, right in the heart of Hampstead.
Francis, Sophie and the rest of the team were incredibly thorough and attentive, identifying details we had not initially considered. Communication was excellent throughout, and it was always easy to get in touch to discuss any last minute questions. We particularly appreciated the final meeting close to the day, which helped us feel completely prepared.
Everything ran smoothly and we could not have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Burgh House to anyone looking for an elegant and well-managed London wedding venue.Burgh House's reply:

We absolutely loved getting married at burgh house, it's the most beautiful little venue, in a great location and it has such a warm feeling.
Sophie and the team were super friendly and helpful, and the team on the day were amazing and we barely noticed them, they just made sure everything went to plan!
Go and have look, and I'm sure you'll love it too :) -

Burgh House were brilliant. We booked plenty of time in advance, but there were no issues and hiccups at all throughout.
The staff did a great job of dressing the Library room on the day and were fantastic when our registrars were slightly late.
Couldn't recommend enough and really great value. -

Truly lovely venue
Burgh House is a fabulous venue on a quiet street in Hampstead if you're looking for somewhere intimate with a bit of history and greenery! It was very low stress as the wonderful team sorted everything out for us, and there's a great florist just round the corner for flowers. The support on the day was great and everything went very smoothly.
Only areas for improvement:
- if no live music then a guest has to play the music through the Bluetooth speaker, which I worried took away from their enjoyment of the ceremony. I expected a member of staff to offer to do this.
- the food was nice but communication from Leafi was poor e.g. accusing us of missing a tasting that we had never booked. All worked out fine in the end but was a little stressful. -

The perfect wedding venue!
We absolutely loved getting married at Burgh House. It was so special to get married somewhere in North London that we already love and can return to anytime! Sophie was amazing, so helpful, and made planning so simple. The Music Room is already gorgeous so saves hassle decorating a space and we had Eimear Crealey sing and play the grand piano (@eimearcrealeymusic). We couldn’t recommend Burgh House enough for your special day! -
