  Truly lovely venue

  Burgh House is a fabulous venue on a quiet street in Hampstead if you're looking for somewhere intimate with a bit of history and greenery! It was very low stress as the wonderful team sorted everything out for us, and there's a great florist just round the corner for flowers. The support on the day was great and everything went very smoothly.
  
  Only areas for improvement:
  - if no live music then a guest has to play the music through the Bluetooth speaker, which I worried took away from their enjoyment of the ceremony. I expected a member of staff to offer to do this.
  - the food was nice but communication from Leafi was poor e.g. accusing us of missing a tasting that we had never booked. All worked out fine in the end but was a little stressful.

  The perfect wedding venue!

  We absolutely loved getting married at Burgh House. It was so special to get married somewhere in North London that we already love and can return to anytime! Sophie was amazing, so helpful, and made planning so simple. The Music Room is already gorgeous so saves hassle decorating a space and we had Eimear Crealey sing and play the grand piano (@eimearcrealeymusic). We couldn’t recommend Burgh House enough for your special day!

  A beautiful celebration

  We cannot recommend Burgh House enough as a wedding venue. The house itself is warm and charming, with plenty of interesting spaces which can be adapted to suit your day, from the beautiful old world music room to the modern art gallery and cosy library space. It offers so many photo opportunities too - our photographer was delighted! The Burgh House team are incredibly professional and are so well practiced in coordinating weddings that everything ran exactly as planned. They were also on hand to provide advice on vendors and decoration ideas during the planning, which was really useful. On the day the front of house staff were so welcoming and helpful, the atmosphere was very relaxed. We were also very happy with the in-house catering, they provided beautiful food for everyone throughout the day and provided for various allergies. We could not be more thrilled with how our day went and are so grateful to the whole team at Burgh House. If you have not yet booked it for your wedding, you really should!

  Amazing place to get married

  The venue is gorgeous so you feel really special. We had to change the date and they were so flexible, allowing us to move without charge. The team were lovely and made the prep and the day all special, allowing us to change wines and food without fuss. Highly recommended!

  A fantastic experience

  We were pretty sure we wanted to get married at Burgh House the first time we looked round, and it absolutely lived up to our expectations - we had a fantastic day and received loads of compliments from our guests on the venue and the food. Communication with Sophie beforehand was easy and took a lot of the stress out of wedding planning, and on the day everything went incredibly smoothly - we were super impressed by the whole team. Thank you!

  Wonderful Venue!

  We got married here in May and it was such a great experience! The building is beautiful and Sophie and the team are so lovely, they made the experience very relaxed.

  Wedding day bliss in Hampstead

  My wife and I had the most wonderful wedding day at Burgh House. The whole team are superb and all our guests enjoyed the venue and the food. The portion sizes are really generous and we were so well looked after.
  
  I would really recommend this venue if you want something sophisticated, elegant, intimate and friendly for your big day.

  Perfect Venue for a Perfect Day at Burgh House

  Our wedding at Burgh House was everything we dreamed of and more. The venue's atmospheric charm won our guests over, with many declaring it the best wedding they've attended. Culinary excellence shone through, especially with the bouillabaisse and Thai green curry, which were nothing short of remarkable. The compliments we received on both the setting and the cuisine were plenty. Heartfelt thanks to the staff for playing a pivotal role in our memorable day. Highly recommend for an unforgettable experience.

  Special place for a cosy wedding

  We held our civil partnership ceremony, drinks reception and dinner at Burgh House. The organisers and staff were very friendly and accommodating of less able guests. We had several parents of small babies attend, and Burgh House kindly let us use a gallery room upstairs for naps and feeding. We used Burgh House’s caterers, Leafi. Overall our experience with Leafi was good but we perhaps caught them on a bad day as there were a few issues with timing of food (a big delay before main courses were brought out, undercooked risotto, then rushed desserts which had to be brought out during our speeches). The staff were not able to tell my coeliac bridesmaid which of the canapés were gluten free, which was frustrating as we had carefully planned the food to accommodate different dietary requirements.
