Intimate Wedding Reception
Mariateresa was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She was incredibly accommodating in arranging beautiful and very affordable rooms for several of our guests, which made the experience even more special for everyone traveling to Matera.
One of the things we appreciated most was the value. For a venue in such an extraordinary setting, Le Dodici Lune was remarkably affordable. The venue, food, and open bar together represented only about 30% of our overall wedding budget — and because the space itself is so beautiful, we required very little additional rentals or decor.
The planning process was enjoyable. Our tasting was a fantastic experience, and every piece of feedback we shared was executed perfectly for the wedding. The food on the night itself exceeded expectations, and many of our guests commented on how exceptional both the chefs and the wait staff were. They were also extremely attentive in accommodating all food allergies and dietary needs.
The wine selections were incredible, and Le Dodici Lune’s wine cellar became one of the most memorable parts of the evening. We transformed it into a lounge space for the night, which created such a unique and intimate atmosphere for our guests.
