We were married at Borgo del Carato in September 2025, and from our very first interaction, we knew we were in the safest possible hands.

From meeting one, Lelia made us feel completely comfortable and confident in our decision. Every piece of information was clear, every question was answered with patience, and nothing ever felt too much. She guided us through the entire process, helping us arrange all of our vendors - from florist to photographer and everything in between - and having her there with us on the day itself made it even more special.

One of the highlights in the lead-up to the wedding was returning for our tasting a few months beforehand. Spending the night at the venue, meeting more of the team, and sampling the incredible Sicilian food was such a memorable experience. It made everything feel real - and reassured us that our guests were in for something exceptional.

In the final few months before the wedding, Asia was an incredible support. She handled all the logistics seamlessly - helping with room allocations, transport to and from the venue, and the small details that make such a difference.

The magic of our wedding truly began the moment we arrived at Borgo the day before and the welcome we received.

Every single member of staff deserves recognition. Danielle can seemingly solve anything - from organising a speaker at a moment’s notice to producing a perfectly chilled beer if needed! Lorena and the wonderful housekeeping team kept everything immaculate. Vittoria and Marika were everywhere at once, always smiling and helpful throughout every day. The chefs - whose names we sadly didn’t manage to get - created unforgettable meals. Tony, you need to see him to believe he is real. The best barman in Sicily, chief translator when needed, helpful in so many ways and just a pleasure to be around. Even those whose names we didn’t catch played such an important role in making our wedding unforgettable.

Being surrounded by your nearest and dearest on your wedding day is a privilege. But what truly made our experience so extraordinary was the warmth, professionalism and genuine care shown by every single person at Borgo del Carato.

We could not recommend getting married here highly enough. We are endlessly grateful to the entire team for giving us the most magical experience of our lives - and we very much hope to return for many holidays in the years to come.

Qualche piccolo accorgimento andrebbe fatto, relativamente alla gestione e al supporto clienti in fase organizzativa, soprattutto durante la pianificazione di importanti eventi di vita. Il cliente spesso ha necessità di essere "accompagnato e, ogni tanto, coccolato".

La struttura dell'evento stesso è stata pianificata in autonomia.
La nota di credito, relativamente a questo, va alla preziosa collaborazione / impeccabile lavoro del Catering esterno, che ha consentito una precisa e puntuale organizzazione dell'evento, anche a distanza.

Inutile ribadire quanto la location sia incantevole e con buona possibilità di uso e personalizzazione di tutte le zone della stessa!

The first time I set foot at Borgo del Carato I immediately fell in love with the place, so much so I immediately knew I wanted to get married there. And I don’t regret the decision. We had a wonderful time during our wedding weekend and the guests passed very nice comments. If I had to go back, I would choose Borgo del Carato once again.

We celebrated our dream wedding in August 2025 at Borgo del Carato. It was the most stunning venue! The venue was so pretty and clean, the gras and the flowers in top shape.
The communication was a bit difficult in the begining because we have waited a long time for responses. You can sometimes feel that they have so many weddings that they loose the overview. But we loved, that they made everything we want possible without any doubts. Asia from the reception was really friendly and helpfull with everything.
Would definitely recommend.

The whole venue is gorgeous and peaceful, the rooms are picturesque and comfortable and the staff was amazing. We had "in house catering", so the food was cooked at the venue, and it was incredible, highly recommend!
Our guests were shocked by this place and we heard several times during the wedding that it was "magical" and "like a fairytale".

Borgo Del Carato is truly is one of the most beautiful places to be. From it's breathtaking courtyard (perfect for an intimate reception!), elegant & thoughtfully styled rooms, relaxing pool area, incredible in-house catering, lush lands and most importantly it's warm, kind & attentive staff - it is the perfect wedding venue.

We had a wedding of 75 guests, with the majority able to stay at Borgo Del Carato. This in itself is a big plus of the venue. Being able to have all of our favourite people under the same roof for three entire days was incredibly special. Also, the borgo is spacious and surrounded by lush land, yet still manages to feel intimate.

My partner and I decided to host three events at Borgo del Carato over the course of our wedding weekend: a pre-wedding welcome dinner, our wedding day itself, and a day-two BBQ and pool party to finish. We used the in-house catering for all three events – it was all unbelievably delicious and truly reflected the best of Sicilian cuisine.

For the wedding day itself, there are endless options for both good and poor weather, with a variety of beautiful spaces to shape your day. We were able to use different areas of the Borgo for each part of the celebration, almost taking our guests on a journey throughout the day. It made the whole experience feel vibrant and memorable.

I cannot recommend Borgo Del Carato more as a wedding venue. It is such a uniquely, special place. Thank you for creating the most unforgettable wedding for us!

Our wedding at Borgo del Carato was an Italian fairytale! Lelia was a dream to work with, with any question she handled with professionalism and detail. Her flower and food vendors exceeded our expectations!

We had a rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and pool party all on site. The venue has so much space to make each event feel like a new space. If you are looking for a wedding venue abroad in Italy look no further!

From the very start Lelia was so helpful and friendly and relaxed about anything we asked, she was able to help and guide us. The venue was able to have all our guests stay and everyone was so happy with their rooms, the service, the food and the drinks. We loved this venue, it was the first one we looked at and no others compared. It has a huge plus having options for every part of the wedding should the weather turn but we had the sunniest day so were lucky! Also having a sauna and steam room and spa just added an extra bit of luxury for all the guests. The price was so reasonable and all the prices once we were there for the extra dinners and drinks too. The staff were friendly and helpful and happy and quite honestly we have fallen in love with Borgo Del Carato! Thank you so much for making our wedding the perfect day for us! X

I cannot recommend Borgo del Carato highly enough as a wedding venue. We knew even before we saw it in real life that that it was the perfect venue to be honest but the whole process from start to finish was amazing. Lelia is a total gem and helped make our vision a reality. We did a 3 day wedding and used the in house catering for the Friday and Sunday events which was superb. It was also really important to us to get legally married in front of friends and family so this was a huge pro in favour of Borgo del Carato. We got married in the onsite chapel which was just perfect. We managed to fit almost all of our guests in the onsite bedrooms which made the whole weekend just feel like a big holiday with all our favourite people. Borgo del Carato is the idyllic rustic venue that we had dreamt of. A true taste of authentic Sicily. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our wedding at Borgo del Carato in Sicily was an absolute dream come true, and I can confidently say that it is the most stunning venue we have ever had the privilege of setting foot in. This sentiment was echoed by every single guest in attendance - the Borgo is even more breathtaking in person than it appears in the internet photos.

Getting married at this venue felt like stepping into a fairytale or a page from a Vogue magazine; it's truly indescribable. The fact that it is also incredibly cost-effective in comparison to other options is the icing on the cake.

The Borgo's size was just perfect for our 100 guests - it's not overly spacious, which means that everything felt intimate and close-knit, yet it was still large enough to comfortably accommodate everyone.

Our guests came from all corners of the globe - the USA, Europe, South Africa, Iran - and not a single one had ever seen a location so stunning. The awe and wonder in their eyes as they explored the Borgo was a testament to its beauty.

Communication with Lelia, the owner, was a breeze, and she was always there to answer our questions and offer her assistance. Her warmth and friendliness made the entire experience even more enjoyable.

Selecting Borgo del Carato as our wedding venue was, without a doubt, the best decision we made. This is the most incredible venue I have ever seen, it felt like we were in a movie! The venue were so helpful throughout the whole process and helped us with absolutely everything we wanted. With us living in England and the venue being in Sicily, we were not able to do much ourselves and they were on hand to do all the little things we needed to make sure we had the most incredible day! Borgo del Carato is a complete gem. As soon as you step through the gate you are transported into a dreamy sicilian landscape. The venue is so beautiful in itself, from the architecture of the main house to the gardens and the flourishes of foliage and curia, it serves itself perfectly for a very dynamic event with lots of areas and variety. Simply put, it has an effortless beauty.

They are highly experienced, opinionated in the best way regarding vendors to work with, and passionate about what they do.
