Our Real Wedding

We had the most wonderful day, surrounded by friends and family at Hyde Bank Farm in Romiley. It was such a perfect venue for us, as it was so close to where we first moved in together in Marple! We stayed at Magpie Cottages nearby with our bridesmaids and groomsmen to help set up the day before, then get ready the day of. I walked down the aisle to one of our favourite video game songs, "Song of the Ancients" from NieR Replicant, and we made our vows in front of our nearest and dearest. My mum did a wonderful reading and our brothers were our witnesses. We had lots of beautiful pictures and videos throughout, courtesy of Journey House Productions, and our DJ/MC Ali Birch kept the vibes going all day and night. The speeches were fantastic - super funny and wholesome. At the beginning of the evening festivities, we surprised our guests with a performance from the choir I'm a part of, Chorlton Sings, that we'd kept secret beforehand. It was amazing to do our own version of Archie, Marry Me by Alvvays. We have made memories for life, and were blessed with gorgeous weather to top it off. We couldn't have done it without Hitched to help us find our amazing vendors and venue!
