Our Real Wedding

Our day was exactly what we wanted - good food, good drinks, good music, surrounded by friends and family.

We wanted our day to be a reflection of us, not too fussy and focused on quality. My dress was made from my mum's dress (Dig for Victory, Brighton) and Sam got a custom suit (Gresham Blake, Brighton) that he can wear again and again.

We kept the decor simple with dried flowers we arranged ourselves, twinkly lights (supplied by us and our venue), and blue tulle that matched the bridal party outfits. I surprised Sam with champagne glasses with the celestial map for our wedding date engraved on them. We skipped favours and a wedding cake - because nobody actually likes them!

We were married by a close friend who wrote the perfect ceremony for us. The owl ring bearer (Casper) absolutely stole the show and was a great surprise for our guests.
