What a day! Filed with laughter, love and family! I started getting ready with my bridesmaids at Nancarrow Farm in Zelah, Cornwall. Bit of an eventful morning...us vs wasps 😅 whilst getting ready the wasps loved the wooden cabin so kept coming in as quick as we could get them out 😅 added humour to the morning. All I could imagine was how calm Sam's morning was probably going, and I was completely right! Getting a cooked breakfast with his family, and leisurely walking to the church. After I was ready I made my way with my dad and bridal party to St Newlyn East Church where we had our ceremony. A beautiful and funny ceremony! Seeing my Husband to be, crying his eyes out at the bottom of the aisle waiting for me. And then bith of us crying when we see our goddaughter all dressed up as our flower girl looking adorable as ever! The funniest part was when the vicar forgot to say "you may now kiss the bride" we said can we kiss, and he replied "oh yes have a kiss!" It added such a light hearted funny moment to our day. We then had lots of family photos which I will cherish forever, as I have a few un well family members so I am so happy they could be with us on our day. We then headed back to Nancarrow to have our reception. The food... amazing!!! The atmosphere...Amazing!! The speeches were an emotional rollercoaster of tears and laughter! Then the evening party came around so quickly. Our first dance was such a special moment in our own little world. I then surprised my dad with a dance to somewhere over the rainbow (his favourite) then after 1 minute it switched up into, canned heat by jamiriquai, another of my dad's favourites, where my brother and sister joined us for a silly family moment. Another dance tradition our my now husbands side at weddings is to dance to buffalo solider. One Man named Tom leads the dance everytime. Everyone went crazy! The photographer and videogrpaher were crying with laughter as they had no idea what was going on, it was hilarious trying toexplain to people what just happened 🤣 A special decor moment we had at our reception was a collection of wedding photos from our families, our parents, grandparents. And a photo and yellow rose to pay memory to Sam's Grandma who had passed. On another note, we bought 86 bottles of wine to the venue on corkage. My brother and cousin had a competition who could drink the most..... we only took 10 bottles home the next day 🤣Honestly we could not have asked for a better day. Our families and friends just interlinked so well, we had the 1 day of sun out of the whole week, I have never laughed and cried so much in one day. Our vendors really helped make it our special day.
