17 Oct, 2026Our Real Wedding
Our love story is quite wild. Me and Ryan met on Twitter back in September 2023, I'm from Merseyside UK and he's from Northern California, 5000 miles between us. Despite this distance, within just 2 weeks of speaking via text & phone calls, we knew we loved each other. So, on 17/10/2023, we said we loved each other, and that was that. Fast forward a year to 17/10/2024, during the start of a massive road trip along the west coast of the US, Ryan asked me to marry him- the easiest yes of my life. Now, 3 years after we first said "I love you", we got married, and our love story continues to develop.

Never in my wildest dreams would I be marrying someone who started 5000 miles away from me, wearing a cream wedding dress, in a church, with 100% gluten-free food. All those things were never in my vision, but my god did it become the perfect day.

Seeing so many loved ones show up for our big day, celebrating our love and embracing us, was something out of a dream.
We wanted our day to be classy and elegant, but dark and moody, all whilst incorporating Mexican culture as my now husband is half-Mexican. Having our cultures, personalities and style intertwined into our day was crucial to us both.
I wish I could go back and relive the day again, and again. I never want to leave the bubble of being a newlywed, but I know that my love for Ryan will only deepen over time.
