Our Real Wedding

Daniel and I got together six years ago while we were in uni. Our original anniversary is the 8th June 2019. We had known we wanted to grow old together for years, but on 4th June 2024 he proposed to me.

We planned a wedding that was just what we wanted. All of our family and friends helped in any way they could; my dad played guitar as we walked down the aisle, my husband's best friend provided the food, his sister made our cake, my sisters and mum spent hours helping to plan and make all of the decorations and special touches, my friend Vari did my hair and many more friends and family aided in the strenuous setting up and clearing away of the venue.

We were married on the 6th June 2025. A year isn't a long time to plan a wedding, but I didn't want to wait much longer to marry my best friend.

We had so much fun (and so did our guests!) and we danced, drank and mingled the night away.

My birthday is the 2nd June. So now, on my favourite week of the year, I get to celebrate 4 different anniversaries; The day I was born, the day we got engaged, the day we got married and the day I met the love of my life.
