Our Real Wedding

We got engaged on a cold January day at the start of 2025, Connor had asked for a coffee and as I turned around to get the milk out of the fridge he was behind me on one knee. I of course said yes which is when he told me the wedding venue was already booked! We love a confident proposal. This did me that we had just over 9 months from the date we got engaged until the day we got married so it was all systems are go. Connor works at Barley Wood which is a wedding venue so he had lots of experience with different vendors and knew what he wanted which was a stone baked pizza van.

Within the first two weeks we had all our big ticket items booked flowers, caterers, photographer and venue. We were so lucky to be able to have every vendor that we wanted and were feeling so excited.

A month later I got my wedding dress from a little shop in Ponty pool which was the bit I was most nervous about. I am not someone who feels comfortable in a dress or in white so I thought it was going to be a challenge but as soon as I put the dress on I knew it was the one I felt so beautiful and so excited to show Connor.
