    The Black Forest - Sascha & Steffen

    Maria made our photo shoot truly a very special experience - fun and relaxed, natural, a moment just for us. Apart from being very professional in her communication beforehand we had a lovely time on the day with her finding just the right places to take a picture.

    She captured our special bond in wonderful pictures I love looking at and look forward to our next shoot, which we are certain to book again with her.

    Hedingham Castle - Lauren & Mat

    Maria, what an incredible, talented photographer you are.

    We first met Maria at a wedding fair and I instantly fell in love with her work- we booked her there and then and there hasn't been a second I've doubted our decision. Her professionalism and communication throughout the build up to the day was faultless and our engagement shoot was a fab pre-run before the big day.

    Flash forward a few months after and it's the wedding day. Maria came for the bridal prep and was a friendly support throughout the morning-calming, friendly and yet totally professional. She effortlessly captures those 'moments' without even noticing she's there.

    From the ceremony through to the reception, she was a superstar. Looking through our photos, I know we made the best decision with Maria. She's an artist, she excels at her work and I know we'll work with her again. Thank you Maria, we are so grateful for your hard work and I know we'll look at our album for years and years to come with a huge smile on our face.

    Natural, detailed and powerful photography

    Maria was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. From the moment we met her, she was efficient and supportive; exactly what you need when the stress of planning a wedding kicks in. She was always there to answer any questions or discuss finer details. We couldn't have asked for a more talented photographer. From the start to the end of our big day, she captured so many beautiful shots. She was discretely there at every moment, documenting the day from different angles and perspectives. She captured so much movement in our dancing shots, that we remember those moments with clarity. We were both thrilled to have found someone who captured so many memories which we will forever cherish. Thank you Maria for allowing us to relive our special day by looking back at your beautiful photos.

    North London - Katherine & Lev

    Maria was the first person we spoke to last year, and nobody came close to her charisma, attention to detail and sense of humour. She was delighted when we initially told her about our day and all of the traditions that would be taking place. We loved the photo books and the way everyone looked so happy and relaxed... Just what we were aiming for. We did go and see others, but stopped looking after 20 minutes of speaking to other photographers, and decided to have a coffee and made the decision then and there to ask Maria. Maria's genuine delight when we returned and asked if she would work with us for our big fat Greek/Russian wedding was confirmation that we had made the right choice. With our bookings confirmed, we just had to wait for the day to arrive. Leading up to it, we had phone and Skype calls to sort out what kind of shots we wanted, who we wanted them with, but always full of laughter. Our pre wedding shoot was like a rehearsal for the big day, and confirmed to us that we had chosen the most amazing person. Morning of the wedding and chaos ensues. Maria was my rock and moral support. Giving me subtle 'it's ok' looks from behind the camera. Priceless tips and advice that is gold dust to a bride, especially with a mad family! Maria's experience and talent knows no bounds. We are so pleased that we chose her, and cannot recommend her high enough. She captures everything you would hope to remember and surprises you with things you didn't even realise happened. Many people didn't even realise they were in a shot, with her perfectly mastered technique. All of our guests said that from the photos seeping through on social media, they were really excited to see the rest of them. Best choice we made throughout the whole wedding planning period... Maria Assia. Thank you for capturing our day. Words cannot express our gratitude, in any language!     Maria gave us a 5* service, a beautiful pre-wedding shoot in a quirky location to relax us for the big day and beautiful shots of our wedding. Maria was fantastic and we greatly appreciated all she did to capture our special day.

    West Reservoir Centre - Elizabeth & Daniel

    We spent a long time looking for a photographer for our wedding, and are so happy that we went with Maria. Her warm & friendly attitude helped to calm our nerves for the photos on our special day, and we really appreciated the pre-wedding shoot and Skype chats.

    Needless to say, we’re so happy with the images she captured. The photos are a wonderful mix, beautifully documenting key parts of our day, capturing small intimate moments during the ceremony and, of course, the energy & fun of the reception.

    We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for their big day.

    London - Stephanie

    Maria came to our rescue when our original photographer (through no fault of their own) was not able to photograph our wedding, and we are so glad she did. I met her at a wedding fair and she was so warm and friendly. She helped us choose a great spot for our engagement shoot, and made sure we felt comfortable with being photographed. On our wedding day it was great to have her there, taking photos of all the women getting ready without getting in the way at all, and joining in with the jokes and laughter (expertly capturing a few teary moments!). Maria was friendly and professional throughout the day, and her and her assistant did a fantastic job of capturing all the best moments.
    Our wedding photos arrived on a beautiful carved wooden USB stick, inside a carved wooden box. Maria thinks of the smallest detail and made everything special.

    Maria was a pleasure to work with and was highly professional throughout a very long day. She truly caught the spirit of fun enjoyed by all and produced some great shots that told the story of a very happy wedding day.
