  A perfect day

  
  
  Originally we decided not to have a wedding photographer as neither of us like having our photos taken and didn’t want a series of awkward staged photos. Theo stepped in, very last minute, to be our official wedding photographer. We are both so glad that he did, the photographs taken by guests didn’t capture the whole day. Having known Theo, for a few years, we were confident that his natural, friendly, relaxed manner would fit well with the laid back summer wedding vibe we were aiming for. We discussed what we wanted from him for our big day, before the wedding, establishing expectations and limitations so we were all on the same page.
  
  We have often found formal, staged photographs to be intrusive, time consuming and, ultimately, disappointing so we’re able to discuss this with Theo and we felt very relaxed to find that this, old fashioned, style of wedding photography is not what Theo does. His creative style of photography, unobtrusive and discreet, enabled him to take some wonderful candid shots, as well as a few agreed structured portraits and group shots.
  
  Theo was organised and efficient and we quickly completed the necessary paperwork and payment procedures. On the day, he arrived punctually and set to work straight away, capturing all the preparation before guests arrived. Throughout the ceremony, wedding breakfast and celebrations into the evening, Theo was very thorough but considerate at all times. He was friendly and welcoming, all our guests and the venue staff loved him and he was able to catch people at their most relaxed and natural looking, which was just what we wanted. He did all that we asked of him, and was flexible and open to suggestions. The collection of photographs, that he sent as a gallery, are the best photographs we have ever seen of us, everyone looks so happy and relaxed, they reflect the day itself perfectly and we couldn’t have hoped for more.
  
  I would not hesitate to recommend Theo as your photographer for any occasion. As a person, he is easy going, friendly, accommodating and thoughtful and as a photographer he is creative, flexible, reliable and professional and I would be confident to recommend him to everyone.

  Worth every penny

  Amazing photographer! Me and my husband both are rubbish at posing for photos, so Theo's candid style was perfect for us - lots of happy faces with none of the awkwardness.

  Theo photographed our wedding in October and was absolutely brilliant! We wanted natural photos that captured the joy of the day, and didn’t want to have to pose awkwardly all day.   All-round great experience

  Theo photographed our small wedding ceremony in August this year, and was brilliant to work with - right from the point of enquiry through to the big day itself. He was responsive, transparent about his pricing options, and really took the time to get to know us both. We couldn’t be happier with our photos!

  Theo captured our day perfectly

  We were so happy with Theo's photos of our wedding- he has a really lovely style that captures the day perfectly. He's such a nice guy as well, blends in perfectly and made us feel very relaxed! 100% recommend.

  Captured Every Moment Beautifully

  Theo was professional, helpful and enthusiastic, while also just being easy-going and a very enjoyable guest. The photos he took capture everything we wanted - the emotion of the evening, and just the beauty of everyone who was attending. Documentary style photos are the way to go, but Theo in particular will deliver the emotion of your event, encapsulated forever in precious moments. He took all the worry and anxiety about getting the perfect picture out of the day, and we could not be more grateful!

  Magical Genius

  Theo is a master of his craft. He offered us a complementary mini shoot prior to the wedding to get to know us and for us to get to know him. This was immensely valuable as we were both super comfortable with him and confident in his abilities on our day. The portfolio of images he created on our big day are nothing short of magical. Every time we look through the photos we are transported back to that day. The sounds, the little experiences and the big moments are all brought to life again. He has truly exceeded any expectations we had of capturing every single part of our day. He melted into the background and guests forgot he was there so all acted naturally. Theo provided us with extra memories of moments we weren't a part of (we couldn't be everywhere at once) he made sure we didn't miss a single thing, I was able to see the amazing moments of my husband getting ready and greeting guests, a part of the day you generally miss as a bride awaiting her big entrance. we both got to see photos of our guests thoroughly enjoying themselves.. this made for some fun conversations in the following months. If it weren't for Theo's incredible insight and natural ability to see all of the wonderful things he didn't want us to miss, I would never have witnessed the entire room full of guests watching intently as my 3 year old grandson played his toy guitar in the middle of the dance floor. We have many incredible moments caught on camera. I never thought it possible for each single image to invoke so many memories, feelings and bring alive the emotion of the day. We had a few crazy ideas for images we wanted to capture, Theo wasn't put off by any of our requests and was excited to produce them all, he ran around with us at the wedding breakfast as we went to each table to have an 'in the moment' picture whilsty dancing in between. Theo is a genuinely passionate and positive individual who gives 100% and it shows. We are eternally grateful.

As an added bonus we also got the posed group photos that our families wanted (and that we too wanted to upon receiving them). He got plenty of pictures of everybody and has the eye to capture both poignancy and humour from behind the lense. He's ensured we have a more rounded memory of the day that was hard to process at the time!
  
  Theo is really down to earth but professional, so the perfect blend. He was always on hand to both put us at ease on a stressful day whilst also getting the shots we wanted. On top of that he's a really nice bloke so we couldn't have hoped for anyone better to welcome into our event. We couldn't recommend him highly enough.
