We had such a wonderful experience working with Harmit! I’d would definitely recommend booking him for your wedding or event, we couldn’t be happier with the experience or how our photos came out!
From the start, we had an initial call with Harmit which helped us understand his style and approach. He then sent us all the booking details and detailed information and we sent a deposit. We initially booked for only 4 hours, but then as our wedding plans began to take shape he let us extend to 6 hours and add the RAW files. We really appreciated his flexibility on this. And a photographer providing the raw files is quite rare, so we were so happy we were able to have them for only £50 extra!
On our wedding day, Harmit was able to photograph from the background to not disturb the ceremony while also capturing all the key moments. My husband and I lean a bit more camera shy, but Harmit was still able to capture many amazing couples shots! We had our wedding at Kew and he was able to spot additional great locations for photos around the gardens, leaving us with a diverse set of couples photos. I liked how his style is more documentary, so we were able to actually experience our wedding without feeling like the day was about capturing the perfect photos.
Following the wedding, Harmit provided us with the edited photos within about three weeks. He provided a link that we could share with our guests via his website. We also received a link to download the full sized photos and the RAW files. We had 24 guests and all our guests were featured in at least a few photos, and he was able to capture all key elements of the wedding (guests arriving, ceremony, couples photos, cocktail hour, dinner, speeches and cake cutting). The editing was perfect, the photos still looked natural but were edited to improve color and lighting.
We plan to hang a bunch of the photos in our apartment and will truly treasure having all of them forever. Thank you, Harmit, for wonderfully capturing such a special day! -

We can't recommend Harmit highly enough for capturing our wedding ceremony in March and our hand fasting in June. From the very first call, he was approachable, responsive, and easy to communicate with — always happy to answer questions over phone or email and genuinely took the time to understand what mattered most to us for the day.
What stood out most was how unobtrusive he was throughout both events. Harmit has a wonderful ability to stay in the background, never once interrupting the flow of the day, yet somehow he still managed to capture the most amazing candid moments — the little glances, laughs, and emotions that we would have otherwise missed entirely. It takes real skill to be that present without being noticed.
He was also incredibly well organised, clearly planning ahead for key moments and making sure nothing was missed, while his attention to detail really shone through in the final photographs — from the smallest decorative touches to the most important emotional beats of the day.
Having him photograph both our March ceremony and our June hand fasting meant we had a consistent, trusted presence across two very special occasions, and the results speak for themselves: a beautiful set of photographs we'll treasure for a lifetime.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Harmit to anyone looking for a photographer who combines genuine talent with a warm, professional approach. -

Harmit is an incredible professional who helped with photographing my wedding. His work is beautiful and successfully captured the mood of the event. On the day, he helped to set everyone at ease and was often unobtrusive when snapping pics. When a moment required a certain level of organisation, he easily took charge in order to produce the best results. Also, he was super helpful before my wedding, as he was really forthcoming about the minutiae and requirements for the day in question. All this for a fantastic price! I'd highly recommend Harmit to anyone looking for an easy and skilled photographer for their event. -

Harmit was absolutely amazing!!
He made my wife and I feel totally at ease, being flexible with a last minute change and adaptable with the cold weather outside shots, finding great backdrops in the park that I didn't even notice until I saw the finished products. We also appreciate how quickly he did this despite my family running late as we were absolutely freezing!
He fit in effortlessly with the wedding guests which led to some excellent photos, capturing warm moments providing some very candid shots.
Harmit was able to capture our wedding wonderfully, thank you so much for everything, from interesting conversations on the day to the perfect photos which captured our very happy day. Also I love that we get to keep all of photos - I couldn't imagine having to sieve through them to decide which ones we would keep. Very grateful that we get to have all of them! -

How can I even begin with Harmit? If there is anything you can take from this review, it is that he has been absolutely phenomenal to work with, and that he is a true artist with a keen eye for detail.
My wife and I were married in August 2025, and as a queer couple we were rather particular about our vendors and who we asked to work with us on our special day. Harmit was one of the first we met in person as we asked him to do a few engagement shoots of us many months before our wedding date. The day was rather cloudy, but my (now) wife and I had such a blast with him wandering through the canals at Camden and the greenery of Hampstead Heath. With the overcast skies it was pretty easy to imagine that everything could be washed out and dull, but I think Harmit caught us at our most alive and vibrant every time. He indulged some of our sillier requests, and all in all it was quite a great time.
For the day of the wedding itself, months later, Harmit was truly in perfect form and we were so impressed by his professionalism, his flexibility, and his ability to capture the day. Where the engagement shoot had been more overcast our wedding day had so much more colour in it, and we were absolutely blown away when the pictures came back. We had been impressed by the previous shoot, but Harmit truly knocked it out of the park with our August wedding photos. He was present everywhere he could possibly be, unobtrusively taking shot after shot, and he followed our proposed schedule down to the minute in each of the places we needed to be.
He also surprised us with the variety of styles of shots he could get. We had group pictures, getting ready photos, photos during the ceremony, action shots as we came back up the aisle, shots during the party, and more. We had asked if he would be willing to do some flat lay shoots of things like our rings, dresses, etc., and he had mentioned he was rather more of an observational photographer and so tended not to, but on the day he arranged some incredible flat lay shoots as well without even any prompting. I cannot stress enough just how pleased we are, he really did go above and beyond for us and we are so incredibly thankful.
Harmit has helped us record these memories we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. He was a delight to work with, professional in every sense, and supremely capable. If you want excellent photos for a wedding (and I'm sure anything else!) he should definitely be your pick. -

Harmit was an absolute joy to work with and did a fantastic job photographing our wedding day at Islington Town Hall and Coin Laundry on Exmouth Market. We selected Harmit because of his fair and transparent pricing and approach (limited big group shots!) and he delivered on every level. From the very first phone call he made us both feel at ease, and on the day he was kind, patient and helped everything run smoothly. We are so happy with the fun and vibrant photos that perfectly capture the day. Would highly recommend! -

Superb photos & an excellent service
Harmit was the perfect photographer for our wedding. Throughout the whole process - from first coming across his website and our first phone call with him, to the wedding day itself and receiving the photos afterwards - he has been a true professional and a pleasure to liaise with. He clearly has a very strong commitment to, and respect for, the art & craft of his photography (which is superb), AND being a decent human. In my humble opinion, that's quite a rare find. For those qualities to ALSO be combined with an extremely reasonable pricing structure meant that we feel pretty smug to have lucked out by booking such an excellent photographer! The photos themselves are better than we could have hoped for and they really capture the essence of our day. I was particularly happy to discover how many brilliant photos Harmit took during our ceremony and evening party, because (in the nicest possible way) I simply don't remember noticing him all that much at all - I think that conveys a sense of how well he blends in and how effectively he captures moments in his reportage style. We would recommend Harmit in a heartbeat. -

Harmit did an engagement shoot for my fiancée and me, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with him. From the very beginning of the planning stage, Harmit was responsive, thoughtful, and friendly—he had some great suggestions about where to take the photographs (we decided on Hampstead Heath, and it was the perfect choice for us) and always responded quickly when I had questions. At the same time, Harmit is wonderful with handling all the logistics (setting up a time and place to meet, taking care of paperwork, coordinating payment, etc.) and it made me feel very confident about working with him. My fiancée and I truly enjoyed spending time with Harmit on the day of the shoot as well. Our engagement shoot was the same day that I proposed, so it was lovely working with someone who made us feel so comfortable and relaxed so that we could enjoy the day.
On top of all else, my fiancée and I love the photographs that Harmit took, and our family and friends have loved seeing them as well. We also loved that he edited our photographs, but didn't photoshop/retouch them—when we look at the photographs, they look beautiful, and they capture what a happy and special day it was. If you are considering hiring Harmit, I whole-heartedly recommend that you do so.
