We had the pleasure of Maryann as our photographer for our wedding in August. Very happy with the artistic, candid and beautifully composed moments captured to bring to life the memory of our magical day. We were most nervous about the couples photos as we didn’t organise a practice session but we were put at ease. Through gentle direction and an eye for picking nice spots at our location we have some gorgeous shots as husband and wife.
Aside from the pictures, Maryann and her husband who was there as a second photographer; also helped make the day go smoothly. At one point we couldn’t find our memory card for the camera we were filming our vows with and they saved the day with one they had. Even helped remove a splinter I managed to get lodged in my finger that morning. None of these were in their job description but the effort made to help out with the flow of the day as much as they were able was hugely appreciated.
The professionalism was unquestionable with brilliant communication and consideration for how to deal with a couple on their big day and no interruption on the celebration. Candid shots we expected and candid shots we got as for a few posed and requested ones which were relaxed and altogether have create a nice mixed gallery to remember our day with.
Would definitely recommend especially if you like the sort of moody, romantic, dramatic flair Maryann creates in her editing process.

We hired Menagerie in a dual package as both our photographer and videographer, something surprisingly rare to find, and we honestly cannot stress enough how fantastic they were. They captured beautiful shots of the ceremony and family, and when it came to our private photos, they struck the perfect balance of fun and sentimental. It was so engaging to see how invested they were in exploring unique ideas that gave us memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime.
The quality is outstanding. The video they created is a full hour of professionally edited footage, which means we’ll be able to relive the most important parts of the day for years to come. Despite planning for years, the day itself flew by, so having this keepsake is priceless.
We also did an additional photoshoot afterwards which came with its own challenges (no dressing rooms, etc.), but they turned it into a fun adventure. They went above and beyond, even helping us get ready on location, and once again brought creativity and brilliant ideas.
On top of their skill and professionalism, they are just such lovely people, with incredible attention to detail. We will be recommending them to anyone who asks for a photographer or videographer in Cornwall, they were simply amazing. -

Your wedding day. Probably one of the most profound days of your life. The special day is like a fleeting dance, a delicate balance of moments that unfold before you, never to return in quite the same way again. Being in the moment you can’t possibly take in all that is happening around you.
That is where maryann and Nathan at ‘The menagerie lifestyle photography’ take care of all that is needed. Their pictures capture those moments perfectly. not only do they deliver on those dramatically romantic portraits that every bride and groom dream to have on their wall (and on their Instagram) but they also captured the quiet moments, the family's becoming one moments.
Every time we look back though our wedding photos we noticed a little expression or an embrace in the background that we didn't see before. 'The Menagerie and lifestyle photography' truly created a time capsule for us to look back on and breathtakingly beautiful photos of us as a couple that we will treasure for a lifetime. we honestly can't rate them higher or thank them enough. -

Couldn't have picked anyone better!
Maryann was perfect from start to finish. We instantly felt at ease and really couldn't have asked for anyone better to document our special day! She completely fit in with the relaxed, laid back vibe of the day and we're so happy with how everything went. Maryann was more than just the photographer on our day, she helped with so many of the small details and helped out massively when I was getting ready, including helping me use the steamer for the first time! We're thrilled with how the pictures came out! Would 1000000% recommend! -

We had our wedding back in May and Maryann and her husband were so wonderful. They were both discreet when required and so supportive (special thanks to Maryann for holding on to my vows before the ceremony!). They captured such lovely moments in our wedding, many of which were unposed and captured all the love and joy of the day. We're grateful for the sheer number of quality pictures we now have to remind us of our big day. -

Mayann & Nathan were a fab team to have at our wedding! They captured some beautiful moments which our whole family will treasure forever. We bought a package deal with a pay monthly plan which was easy to keep track of and helped us during our budget.
