  Everything we hoped for and more!

  Mortiz’s professionalism and confidence combined with his easygoing and warm style made us feel really comfortable and in safe hands, in the lead-up and on the day. He was a lovely presence - subtle and hardly noticeable in the ceremony and proactively created spontaneous and natural portraits, as a couple, that we really enjoyed taking. Equally importantly, the photos are stunning. He captured so many significant moments of the day, going above and beyond to get the photos back to us really promptly. We particularly loved how well Mortiz captured our (many!) guests, with their characters and emotions shining through the shots. We couldn't recommend Schmittat Photography any more highly.

  Incredible photographer and videographer

  We had the absolute pleasure of working with Moritz for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From the very beginning, Moritz demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a deep commitment to capturing our special day perfectly.
  
  Moritz's professionalism was evident from our first meeting. He was incredibly organised, ensuring that every detail was discussed and planned out. This meticulous approach gave us great confidence that everything would run smoothly on the day.
  
  What truly sets Moritz apart is his creative eye. He captured our wedding day with such artistry, finding unique angles and moments that we didn't even notice. Despite his creativity, he was incredibly subtle, blending into the background and capturing candid moments without ever being intrusive.

  Moritz is fabulous! He is so passionate, positive and enthusiastic and a joy to have around. He responded very quickly to any questions we had throughout the planning process and offered good advice about the day. He turned our wedding video around at lightning fast speed and we LOVE it!! Everyone who has seen it has commented on how great it is!! We can't stop smiling when we watch it back. Book him now! We spent a lot of time researching videographers - if we had our time again we would book him instantly!

  We hired Moritz to both video and photograph our wedding in July 2022. From the start of communication Moritz relayed a cool, calm and collected approach that is truly comforting when wedding planning. This approach carried through to the big day, even through hiccups that Moritz dealt with smoothly and barely to our knowledge. He put us completely at ease which is shown through his incredible photos. As for the footage itself - we were absolutely blown away. The photos were just as we hoped - beautiful and classic shots, as for the video - WOW! We have no words. The fact Moritz shot the video all by himself as well as taking all the photos at the same time is truly unremarkable; such talent. We are so pleased that we decided to book Moritz for our special day and have the most incredible footage/photos that we'll treasure forever. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

  Phenomenal service, would book again!

  Schmittat Photography was an absolutely phenomenal choice for our wedding! We chose to work with Moritz because of his excellent communication and the fact that he clearly knew exactly what he was talking about and was really willing and excited to work with us to make our wedding day perfect. On the day he was so impressive - he was punctual, organised, took all the shots we had asked for (and many more!) and stayed at the venue until late in the evening to ensure we had the whole day covered. All our guests have commented on how professional and friendly he was during the day, and what a great job he did. The photo and video quality are exceptional, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you!!

  100% Recommend!

  Moritz was absolutely phenomenal! He captured our day in it's intimate, raw detail and produced videos that always allow us to fondly reminisce. We are so grateful that we have such a vivid and high quality representation of our day, it really is priceless.
  
  On the day itself, Moritz was a calming and unimposing presence, he made sure to get all of the important shots without us really noticing that he was there at all. But it was also the little details, the shots of the venue, our guests, and the other embellishments that made our wedding video so special. Moritz really went above and beyond to make sure we received something that was unique and quality.
  
  Moritz was extremely friendly, and very good at asking the best questions to produce the best answers when it came to our interviews and the messages from our guests, he made us feel comfortable and relaxed, allowing the camera to capture our true authentic selves. He was always open to our suggestions and willing to work with us, but had a wealth of experience and expertise which meant he knew exactly what to do without being asked or told.
  We are so pleased with what he has created for us, and would 100% recommend him to anyone who wants to capture their wedding day in video form.

  Moritz has done a fabulous job shooting our wedding last month. His 'can do' attidude made working with him seamless and quick. He came up with some unusual ideas that really came out brilliantly. We are very happy! If we ever marry again we will ask Moritz to be our photographer again :-)
