Mike was our photographer for our wedding in the Alkmaar Room at the Guildhall in Bath in June 2026, and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
From our very first conversations by email and phone, Mike was friendly, approachable and reassuring. He took the time to explain his style of photography, listened carefully to what we wanted, and from that moment until we received our finished photographs, we always felt we were in safe and capable hands.
As well as being a talented photographer, Mike has great way with people. During the two hours he spent with us, he mingled effortlessly and unobtrusively with our guests, putting everyone at ease.
Throughout the ceremony, Mike captured every important moment beautifully without ever being intrusive. Looking back through the photographs, we’re amazed at how many special moments he recorded while remaining almost unnoticed.
One of our biggest concerns was organising a group photograph of all 56 guests. We expected this to be the most difficult part of the day, with people naturally chatting and wandering off after the ceremony. We needn’t have worried. Mike remained completely calm, quickly set up his drone, and within minutes had captured some truly spectacular photographs of everyone gathered outside the Guildhall, despite the busy Bath pavement.
Afterwards, in the nearby park, Mike took a series of beautiful photographs of us as newlyweds. His experience was evident as he chose the perfect locations, backgrounds and lighting to create natural, relaxed and timeless images.
At The Ivy, Mike continued to work with the same calm professionalism. He methodically worked through our requested list of family and friendship groups, making sure no one was missed while keeping everything relaxed and enjoyable.
When we received our final portfolio, we were absolutely delighted. The photographs perfectly captured not only the events of the day but also the atmosphere, emotion and happiness that made it so special. They are memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
If you’re looking for a photographer who combines technical ability with warmth, professionalism and an unobtrusive approach, we can recommend Mike without hesitation. He created a stunning record of our wedding day that met all our expectations.

We are absolutely over the moon with the photos and videos Mike took on our wedding day at Folly Fam in May 2026.
He made us feel relaxed and comfortable from getting ready up until the end of the night. It can’t have been easy with it being the hottest day on record for May and us having a wedding party of 100 guests and an outdoor ceremony. We were all very hot!
We chose him for his relaxed approach and documentary style and couldn’t be happier with the results!!!

Mike did our engagement shoot, which after receiving those within a very short timeframe, we knew immediately that his style and how comfortable he made us feel, was perfect for us. His prices were fair but affordable, and would couldn’t be more grateful for how hard he has worked. Instantly we knew we made the right choice to have him photograph our wedding.
Leading up to the wedding, he was accommodating and answered any questions we had. He helped structure our day and made sure the day flowed beautifully.
Mike arrived early in the morning the day of, to run over things again (which helped put my mind at ease) and capture those important moments in the morning. Throughout the day, he was snapping away and caught some incredible moments, our portraits are absolutely breathtaking, and his ability to manipulate the lighting to make the moments look as special as they felt.
Truly, we couldn’t be happier with our gallery, and we couldn’t recommend Mike enough! -

Mike has created some beautiful wedding photos for us that we will cherish forever! He was so lovely on the day & got everything that we wanted. Mike was absolutely fantastic at our wedding.
He had a very relaxing presence but was very organised and knows his business.
We got married in November 2026 and Mike was able to get photos outside when the weather allowed, he allowed us to go at our own pace and we did not feel rushed or under pressure when taking photos.
Mike took some amazing shots throughout the day, you would not know he was there most of the time, as he carries out his work without being intrusive to the guests.

Mike was amazing. Mike photographed our wedding in September 2025 and we can't recommend him enough.
He arrived super early and managed to capture all elements of our special day, from the getting ready to the fireworks, wonderfully. It was our first wedding but it certainly wasn't Mike's, he was incredibly knowledgable and gave the best advise when it came to getting the perfect shots and what was a good backdrop. We felt at ease posing for him.
His energy throughout the day was unmatched and we felt he was genuinely buzzing to be there for all the special moments.
The photos came back beautifully edited and curated so quickly, we'd barely had time to feel the post wedding blues. And when we viewed all the photos back we were able to experience all the magic of the day again.
I never realised how important a good photographer was your wedding day, but to have these incredible photos to look back on is invaluable.

It was great having Mike as the photographer for our wedding back in August. A really brilliant guy, super patient and did excellent work.
From the minute he arrived he settled in seamlessly and had amazing attention to detail. Already knew what we were thinking throughout the day and captured us and our guests brilliantly.
Alongside this, he was really friendly and flexible - spending time with our guests and getting all the moments you sometimes don’t see as bride and groom on a busy day!
